Hi...I'm from Indonesia, I'm building a miniature sheep and goat educational tour, can you help me especially I want to get myotonic goats to send to my farm? please help me 🙏
I truly love your videos, I'm 65 years old and when I watch your videos I learn something new and interesting. They go to show that no matter the age you can still learn something new😊❤
Those are some great looking 🐑. It was interesting listening to that lady talk about the different breeds. Prayers for your family in Africa. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
Wonderful video. Minstral for one of the chocolate coloured ones. There’s a chocolate. Brand in 🇬🇧 called Minstrals and of course who doesn’t remember the black and white minstral shows. Or call one Jolson 😂
They are so cute. I don’t understand how it’s quarantined if they are nose to nose with the other sheep. Just curious? You should name the little spotted one Dash.🤣
Good question! We’re mostly just monitoring their “droppings” for parasites and keeping them confined so we can check them daily for overall health. If we let them out with all the others it’s too hard to catch them everyday.
Oh wow..these are the most adorable sheep. I just love them. I'm also loving your channel..thanks for sharing. God Bless your family and prayers for those traveling to Africa. ❤🙏
What a beautiful addition to the farm. Can't wait to see the future babies. I know that they will be absolutely adorable. Thanks for sharing this informative video. Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Beautiful sheep, I’m a new subscriber and wondering if you’ve considered doing a tutorial for newbies who are considering getting sheep? Pros and cons and what to expect with sheep? Kind of like this one with what is needed for birthing? I’m still researching your old vlogs. Let me know if you already have one please.
It's funny that you have this video, I have always been interested in the Baby dolls sheep, but now you got my interest in the Harlequin sheep now I would like to learn more about them...I have meant your dad once in a sale barn and spoke to him we talked about long horns.
@@PorterValleyRanch I was thinking that I hauled some long horn show stock once, I use to haul show stock all over the country mostly horses but sometimes other animals of some sort.
This is awesome! I’m in NE Oklahoma and I grew up on a farm raising Southdowns. (I also showed lambs)As an adult, I have been searching for them in my area-non existent. A lot has changed w them in the last 40+ years. We also had Suffolks which I wasn’t a fan of
Humm.. just off the top of my head how about spit fire because she's a little spitfire. Or pepper because she a spicy little thing, or staying with the British theme how about cheeky? She an amusing playful little thing. That all I got at the moment. Can't wait the hear the names you've chosen for the 4 of them. Much love from So.Cal.💟
@@PorterValleyRanch yes I think they have the most beautiful faces and there fleece is thick and soft love the colours and spots. Enjoyed your vlog watching from Queensland Australia thanks for sharing very interesting ❤️❤️🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
8:45, she mentions genetics and outcrossing. I would purchase from her and not worry about inbreeding, if she is outcrossing the COI in her stock is low and her animals are healthy. She is developing the breed and is thinking about the future of the breed.
@@PorterValleyRanch I do know that some have tried sheep and liked goats better so they changed over. Your new sheep are going to be popular I think. By the way not a farmer just love seeing the families and animals. I started watching these types of videos when I dropped facebook. Like the channels much better.
Thank you for this video. I understand it’s a year old, but really cool. I am currently trying to start my baby doll sheep herd, hopefully in the spring of next year. I’m also out of Oklahoma Kirstie learn about this breed.
