How smooth is the floating head when it moves? Mine needs some extra pressure to start moving, sort of clicks.

Hi Keith, it's pretty smooth to be honest. I do need to apply some pressure but after a few uses it's hardly noticeable! That being said I do have nerve damage on my face and shoulders so it's hard for me to notice the pressure. Have a great day!

What is the width(in cm) of the adjustable comb?

Hi Alan, the width is approx 5cm but can reach almost 6cm on warmer days. Have a good one!

Thanks for the review I will try out your tips. I think it’s awful this trimmer I’m pulling my hair out with it. As you said you can’t cut anything over 1mm. Cost me a fortune also. Hoping you tips will make it a better trimmer but I bought it hoping to go up to 5mm and that’s impossible with it. I bought a £20 one off eBay and that’s amazing at a 1/5 of the price 👍
