That's one thing you can say about B5; even as the protagonists learned more and got better equipped the shadows never, ever stopped feeling like a real threat.
Well they didn't really hit much. And the minbari cruisers are probably doing some damage. I think the point was that no matter how strong the enemy is together we can at least make them think twice about attacking.
Telepaths bro. They can stun Shadow ships for a while. The Narn didn't have any (currenty), so they got ate up fast. Paying attention to every detail really pays off in Babylon 5.
They did. The larger alliance fleet 'won' in that it forced the shadows off but it took more losses than the shadows. The Narn generally had to fight the shadows one on one and got massacred. Plus this was the first time white stars were used in numbers and they had *more or less* equivalent tech - certainly a lot closer than any other ship in service.
