Absolutely no one can touch a full BABYMETAL live performance, absolutely unreal. Ive seen one in the states but ultimate goal is to go to their home territory and see them live, in Japan. The videos from home country concerts look truly incredible.
This is a great performance. The entire Trilogy of Lights is a visual and musical experience. Suzuka continues to get more powerful every year. All the love and respect in the world to these ladies. And for those of us that will never be lucky enough to see Babymetal in Japan, thank you ForTheFoxGod for continuing to upload these amazing videos.
This is Babymetal in their highest expression at the peak of their performance. This song is objectively one of their best and they all always sound amazing live. One the best bands of all time calling it right now and I will die on this hill. Absolutely 10/10.
As a guy that studied music for 10 years straight (mainly classical) i always tell people that you cant use that a song is objectively best but you might actually be right here. Incredibly interesting song. 😊
Not sure why, but this whole Arkadia performance just left me feel overwhelming with hope and positivity for their future. I felt the same way at the end of their BM Clear Night show but this one is like, 10x more wholesome. And now I'm crying when thinking about it.
That's pretty much the intention of the lyrics as well. its just an inspiring song overall and is absolute peak BM. "目指す夢をアルカディア" *we're reaching out for the dream of Arkadia*
She wanted to join the "heavy metal" club in SG (BM had separated by then). Her dream was to be a dancer for a famous group. Her dreams have been fulrilled. 🍑🍑🍑🍑
When I first heard this song I couldn't help but think about Leiji Matsumoto's Arcadia from Captain Harlock. Obviously the title helps, but the ideal that this vessel represents seems to fit quite well with the lyrics. A symbol of hope and freedom for those who join aboard. We need this. Thank you Babymetal.
You can see Moa was about to speak, then look toward Su like, “I’m not falling for it again”, and grabbed the mic! Hilarious! This is why they’re my #1 band forever. All the joy and positive energy and genuineness. No other band comes close.
This is what I loved about these 2 shows. They played songs that have been out of the rotation for a while. Da Da, Arcadia, Meta Taro etc. My favorite Blu-ray's by far.
Great birthday performance, so powerful. The happiness the girls display show their love and respect for each other. 💖💖💖 I give Kobametal kudos for arranging the Legend S, M, & MM lives in each ladies' howetown. For me, it shows the respect he has for each of them. A great gift for any performer.
4:55 the band, ah also the western band has a heart... a round of notes ... because girls wanna have fun with fans... 3-3-2024 so happy birthday (21) MOMOKO!
La mejor manera de alegrar mi día en alta calidad, el desempeño de Moa y Momoko junto con la voz de Su es maravilloso, el final es épico, no se podría pedir más. Gracias.
Cant wait to see them live, first time im traveling somewhere to see a band. Most bands i love i would never travel but for Babymetal im breaking that mold 🤘
didnt your heart burst when Moa pushed the mic from Su in to the middle of them for them all to say 'We are' and the crowd tell them that all 3 are now Babymetal.
I grow increasingly afraid of attending a Babymetal show in Japan, like, a proper Babymetal only show. I honestly don't think my heart is physically prepared for this much hype and happiness!
Honestly, I don't know any band that's technically better live than Babymetal, and that's been the case for a long time. You can argue about whether you like their tones or style, but technically, the band delivers a flawless and complex performance that I've never seen surpassed-maybe equaled, but never better
@@forthefoxgod7275 No doubt, I've seen several shows, especially the smaller ones, where pre-recorded tracks are used, and Su-Metal does lip-sync. It would be nearly impossible to sing and dance at that pace while maintaining such controlled vocals, even for a very young girl. I think it's a shame because heavy metal doesn't demand such vocal perfection; she could sing and go off-key. In some of the bigger shows, Su really sings live, and she does it very well. Either way, it's just a detail in the sound and visual spectacle the whole band delivers, as the instrumental and choreography are incredible. I see Babymetal more as a metal opera company than a traditional rock band. It's like a theatrical heavy metal performance, where each member has a specific role, with a director, conductor, almost like an entertainment company with a heavy metal theme. Excellent in any case.
@@lionelson7098 some songs have parts that were never supposed to be sung live (usually it's some kind of processed voice, like electronic). I meant the main vocal part is never lypsync. Live sound requires conditions from the venue. Maybe they performed in places where it was difficult to set up live sound. Of course, I don't rule out that for some reason they didn't sing live somewhere. But I haven't seen a single fancam where they lypsync. (Only backing vocals sometimes)
