Yeah I tried my very best to remove all I could but Su's vocal bleeds into the guitar track. So you would have to limit the guitar steam and loose so much of the high end of the guitar to kill it out totally but then the song does not sound the same at all.

You don't need to apologize. It´s me, too. I criticize most, what or who I like the most. I'm missing the "metal part" in the new songs, too. Su´s voice is so much overloaded with digital effects. Sometimes it feels, it´s not even her singing. I don´t know what Kobametal is doing here. No guitar solos, a huge amount of digital overlays on Su´s voice, a generic mainstream pop stage show, without the band showing. Ok, it is a concept album, they want to experiment. We will see the real Babymetal on smaller stages in Europe, I guess. That will show, how the new songs work with the crowd.

@@mindphlux1899 Yes, I totally agree. Su was always at her very best when she was challenged by the music, just like most artists. I recall her saying in several interviews how difficult Megitsune was for her to perform live and sometimes you could tell she was struggling to hit those crazy staccato notes in the chorus; but even when her pitch was slipping, she STILL crushed it like a real metal QUEEN! Metal artists are known for pushing the limits of their abilities on stage, and metal fans love them for that! My favorite live solo performance from her remains Rondo of Nightmare from Black Night, and it's partly because the music lends her voice power while her voice lends the music emotion. It's hard for me to put into words, but it's just fucking magical. None of this new stuff is doing this for me because the perfect dichotomy between the raw power of the music and the pure sweetness of Su's voice just isn't there. It's just another day at the office for Su-Metal. It's paint-by-numbers idol J-Rock now. This music is not challenging her.

@@retroxify It hurts me a lot to read this type of comments from fans feeling betrayed and disappointed by what they are aiming for in babymetal. but apparently they are no longer wanting to do metal and this suggests that the change from babymetal will end up singing simple idol music. It's good that they abandon the kwaii concept, I'm not complaining. but that they abandon metal and all the fans who follow them for metal hurts a lot. I really liked the song because after all I'm a fan. But I understand the point of the others. Hopefully this will change, please, only on March 23, we will see, but from what we are seeing live, things do not look good

@@JoseOogaKimura1423 Well, it's not so much that I feel betrayed. Disappointed yes, but I realize that I'm not owed anything just because I've been a fan. I want Su and Moa to enjoy what they're doing even if I don't enjoy it myself. I still feel very protective of them and will always wish them all of the success that they've worked so hard to achieve. They are still so young, and there is still so much potential. And metal fans... well, we are very loyal to the artists we admire. Loyal to the death! But now that we have arrived in BM's future it's just... not what I expected I guess, at least for now. I don't actually dislike any of the songs so far, so that's a net positive. But I don't see them making headlines again with this music, at least not in the west, aside from the initial hype coverage they receive from the "comeback" tour and whatever Koba has planned for Fox Day. They'll still pull crowds as long as the classics are on the setlist I'm sure. Likewise, idol fans will continue to lap up whatever they put out and that's cool. I respectfully disagree with you on this, though: I think BM abandoning the kawaii, as you put it, is a bad idea. Honestly when Yui left, they should have immediately doubled down on the kawaii AND the metal. That is literally THE thing that made them world famous. Moreover, it seems a little silly when I see people defending the new music by claiming that BM has simply "matured" or grown out of their *signature sound* when they are literally the same average age as Metallica was when those guys introduced the world to Master of Puppets. Just look at Hanabie, formed in 2015, same ages as Su and Moa, and still killing it doing some very VERY powerful hardcore metal that's so kawaii it'll make you squeal like a little girl in her first mosh'sh pit. They are lined up to perform at metal fests with the likes of Anthrax, In Flames, Kreator, Megadeth, and Pantera this year, and those shows are going to be MASSIVE. Maybe they'll even land on a stage with BM somewhere along the line, who knows. Hanabie has lost TWO members in recent years and they're still kicking major ass without a "concept album." I am reserving final judgment until 3/23, and my mind is still wide open, but I'm also listening to a LOT of Hanabie (and Nemophila) lately to comfort myself in the meantime so it's all good. Japanese girl metal will continue to be amazing with or without BM. :)

@@retroxify I love your comment. I'm also really enjoying Hanabie's music and Nemophila is the Japanese metal that I've consumed the most since babymetal went on hiatus. Thanks for sharing your sorrows. I will continue to support here anyway because babymetal will always be my favorite band of all time.
