Babymetal has such an epic album coming. I love all of the song so far. Momoko is the third for now and has been for several years now. There are rumors of an official announcement on Fox day April 1st of a permanent members. Hopefully she will get a mic then and Babymetal world will then be whole again, minus Yui of course.

This song feels like the original way Su would've choosed as a J-pop singer if she hadn't joined BM. It's like a top-tier J-pop stuffs but not like a BM song. And yeah it makes me nostalgic too, a really good song

A great epic song with a bit of Perfume elements, SU-METAL is so fantastic in this one' could be the hardest for her to sing live, a lot of open throat!

I'm finding that their two new ones are a continuation from the trilogy of light.

To me, this feels like it occupies a similar space to what Karate has, where the metal is slightly less up front, but it has this beautiful uplifting feel to it. But also, that pre-chorus is EVERYTHING! 😍🤩 I swear that every time they put out a new song from this album, it becomes my new favorite off the album. 4 absolutely incredible tracks!

Love this group: but honestly, "Meh". It makes me a bit sad to see this group I have so loved for their innovation now conforming to genre specific industry standards. :( I Always appreciate the girls, the musicians (who don't seem to matter at all anymore) and how hard everybody works to produce this project, . . . .and for what it is, it sounds great . .but this all seems very rushed and way too much pop;. So much so it virtually obscures the metal aspects. I know it is really hard to keep creating and innovating when the wheels of a big machine keep on turning. It eventually happens to all groups I suppose. The timetable to produce something to stay relevant in the marketplace does not allot for waiting for one's particular muse. (Insert own pun here). I wish they had stayed away longer to find something more uniquely "them". I am a longtime fan and still will be, but their older stuff has much more gravitas in my opinion. This track is an overproduced, auto-tuned song for any jpop trio: @onefive with a slightly heavier sound, and only one girl really sings (amazingly well, and that is the only thing making it special). Sadly, for me, thus far it appears their “concept” is commercialization and disappointment. :( . .. I know. . OUCH! I feel like Ryan M's face looks every time the new stuff comes up on Gguys. . LOL. . . Criticism from love. I am just being honest as I am a BIG FAN! Divine Attack is basically Kingslayer structurally recycled. Still pretty good, but more BMTH than Bmetal. Metal Kingdom is mostly “kingdom” and not much "metal". Essentially "From Dusk Till Dawn" with "Starlight" underneath it . . .apparently written on an empty Cheetos bag whilst binge watching GOT ?. . .however. . . . . . .I will say I absolutely adore Monochrome!!!! :) That is the redeemer thus far. .. Perhaps with more listening I will warm to it, but I can't help comparing it to their earlier works, especially since it contains so many recycled elements. . . . Am I alone in feeling this way?

The production team for this song is the same team that created Shine, and you could say that they are a production team that aims to break the stereotypes of metal. This time, they added elements of CITY POP and brought back the vivid colors of love to a world that has lost its colors in black and white and will never let go of that love! We sang about a world full of love😊. But still, where does SU take a breath 😊It's a busy song for vocalists 😁. The dance is beautifully synchronized and the clear voice is mesmerizing. The KAMI band was going wild in the background😁. I spent the first day in front of the band stage on the north side so I was very happy 😊 On the other hand, I am happy to see their performance properly in this music video and enjoy it twice 😃.

Great reaction and analysis Wave ... and anything you see from BABYMETAL after the end of 2017 will not have Yui in it, she last performed at the Big Fox Festival in October 2017 and announced she would be leaving 12 months later in October 2018. The third girl for the last 27 concerts, including the ones in January where this was filmed, has been Momoko. We can only wait to see what happens at the shows in April where they have teased a new permanent member will be revealed ... we don't know who, it may be Momoko it could be somebody else, we can only wait and see.

First, it's not my favorite BABYMETAL song, but...SU-METAL is so fantastic in this one. Second, this song is needed and should be in their upcoming concept album which so far is very heavy and dark. Third, if Momoko is not chosen for the third spot, they are making a big mistake...she's perfect and deserves it (if there's ever going to be a third person, so far it's just rumours....but the signs are there).

The singing and dancing of this song are very, very different from previous BabyMetal songs. This is one of the reasons I love BabyMetal. Always something new.

The third girl is momoko she was one of the avengers introduced in 2019 along with Kano and Riho. Kano is the avenger you will probably recognize since she is the one in the shanti shanti shanti, elevator girl and pa pa ya!! Music videos. Kano was only the avenger in Japan shows probably she was still in Sakura gakuin (the group that spawned babymetal) and then debuted in @onefive. Riho was one of the avengers in the Da Da dance music video. She is also a former member of the 8th generation of the very popular Jpop group morning Musume (till this day she is still considered to be the absolute ace of the group) she did the shows in japan as well as the international shows but stopped halfway through the Europe leg of the world tour. She is currently signed to another label and putting out solo music. Now for Momoko she is also a former member of Sakura gakuin and did the entire 2019 world tour. She was also one of the avengers in the Da Da dance music video with riho. She was also the avenger at the 2020 new years performances she was also the only avenger in the 10 Budokon arena shows they did in 2021. Momoko was also the they only avenger in the two concerts that are in this video. It has been hinted to that Momoko might become a permanent member of Babymetal. At the concert they started with 3 thrones on the stage but one of them was not lit up and was empty. They also ended the second concert with su and Moa standing on the side behind their “crystal coffins” then a third coffin appeared in the center with a girl that was sporting the avengers hairstyle (half of hair in two buns and the other half down). After that they played a video that said on April 1st a new metal will be born they also released the poster for the concerts on April 1st and 2nd with su and Moa in coffins and a third coffin behind them empty. The concert also takes place in Yokohama where Yui was born and raised. Momoko was born in fokuoka but moved to Yokohama when she was 3 (according to her profile when she was on girls planet 999 last year). If I’m being entirely honest babymetal needs a third member I love su and Moa but babymetal has always been 3 even after Yui officially left the group they still performed as three just with dancers in her spot. Momoko really deserves to be promoted and if they do add a third member and it’s not momoko that would be so incredibly cruel. If they do add her as an official member I would love for her to be mic’d and I would love for the return of Moa singing live(they had her stop singing live when Yui left because all their vocals are catered for two even after Yui left all of moas vocals are double or hav an effect to make them sound like multiple people are singing them). So I do believe they should add momoko she has worked hard for them since 2019.

it's magic. if Suzuka sang, every songs become diamond. I hear J-pop in everyday life but this song has many higher sound area. if want a good singer, have to find from kids. devoted talented kids can get a power like angel or fairy.

Not a bad song but "Epic?". Sounds like Passcode without the growls. They should be called BabySynth now lol. How do you not know any of the Avengers names by now?? Come on Wavster.. She is the only Avenger left who has been dancing with them since 2020 and it's clearly on the same stage from their concert this year that was just repackaged with the studio track into a video (Like Metal Kingdom).

The third is Momoko. She’s the last Avenger who took Yuki’s place to complete the choreography aspect of BabyMetal’s live performances. Avengers don’t actually sing. People have speculated that Momoko might be named officially a full member of BabyMetal. Or Yui will be returning. Who knows… 🤷‍♂️

The band is always pretty much absent in the MV’s (maybe because the Kami’s are not playing the studio version except for Road of Resistance where in that instance the audio and instrumentals are LIVE) and this leads to much confusion for first timers. I liked it though and look forward to the actual LIVE vocals and crowd interaction.
