BABYMETAL & Polyphia Live: My First Listen!

Welcome back to the Foxhole, it's been a while.🦊🤘🌅 Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, just like you saw it was released in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists and it's quite clear in the solo section. Tim Henson also said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them both on the same stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again a couple of days ago at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. Polyphia has releeased videos from their latest album. They are "ABC" with Sophia Black, "Bloodbath" with Chino Moreno, "Playing God", " "Ego Death" with Steve Vai, "Neurotica" for which they have also done as studio live video and "Reverie". For Brand New Day, LePage and Henson got the raw demo tracks, where they placed their trademark sound and composed the solos.

Yes , it is extremly surprising how many people only now discover this old song it had long dropped out of their setlist , till they rediscoverd it in 2023 at their second Europe Tour, or more precise their Europe Headliner Tour. In their first Tour they opened for Sabaton. But evwn then it was one of their older Songs. So the only NRW Massage is that they areworking on a new Collab.

I was there, and this song was so beautiful that I remember being shocked as if I had been struck by lightning. I don't know why, but my eyes filled with tears and I was so dazed that I couldn't move. By the way, the songs before and after were really exciting, and the atmosphere turned into a super fun place. They provides us with a super fun space, excitement, and a super beautiful space. BND is an excellent song, and it was very cool that they finally got to perform it live together after such a long time. The end result was worth the wait though. Tim recently teased that there will be an upcoming Polyphia/Babymetal collab, but it sounds like Babymetal will be guests on a Polyphia song this time around.

Welcome back. As you found out, the song is almost 5 years old. It was on BABYMETAL's Metal Galaxy album released in 2019. When Polyphia was confirmed on the bill for Fox_Fest (arranged, hosted and headlined by BABYMETAL in Tokyo) we all had a good idea of what would happen. Tim and Scott provided the guitar track for the original recording of the song. Fox_Fest was the first chance they all had to meet up and to finally do this very first live performance with them all together. You clearly enjoy some good and intricate guitar play ... I wonder what you would make of BABYMETAL's song (from The Other One album released last year) 'Mirror Mirror' live at PIA Arena, April 2023.

Just when you think BabyMetal can not better the last collaboration performance and this happened 😁 i love this song it is a fan favourite, and BabyMetal performed it at Roundhouse in London, and i was quite and so where the rest of audience in awe . What a performance this was everything perfect. BabyMetal also performed RATATATA with Electric Callboy during this performance at Fox Festival 😁 🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Yes. This is 4 years old song. Polyphia guitar sound was prerecorded for this song. Its a 1st time when Polyphia play it live.

Four years eh? Yep. That's what happens when hating gatekeepers insist that Babymetal is not worth their salt because they released Gimme Chocolate over a decade ago.. it makes people small-minded and miss the great talent that these ladies and their production team possess. Can you even imagine what it takes to hold your own with the guitar virtuosos Scott and Tim on the same stage? Glad people are finally seeing Babymetal in the proper light they should have gotten way back..

👍 👍 Easily one of my favorite BABYMETAL songs. Yes Tim and Scott's instrumentals are a driving force here but for me it is Suzuka's stunning vocal performance and Moa and Momo's beautiful backing vocals that seal it. Suzuka once again proves that (in my opinion) she is the most versatile and talented female singer today. She just loves to sing and it shows.
