You have to understand that Glastonbury is not their target crowd, I mean metal is not a normal genre for this gig... But by the last song they won EVERYONE over! Who else is proud of our girls!?
Stitchy33 I noticed that during the first song.... so many people were confused!!! ...though towards the end, they’re jumping, moshing, having a great time. lol. It’s hard not to get into the music. I think they did great. A little rusty and I would’ve liked to see more of the band, but they did great. And that new song Shanti is WOAH!!!
Su-metal always holds her microphone at the same position in front of her mouth even when she is dancing. That's why her voice never fails to reach far back in the site so clearly. After shouting at the end of ROR, she wasn't out of breath at all, a real cool beauty. Gosh, she is really professional!
Babymetal has become highly professional, confident, world-class performers. And they were highly talented and energetic to begin with already. No wonder Rob Halford considers them the future of metal. Bringing new generations to metal. And opening new roads for metal to grow into.
Future of the metal don't make me laugh it's a very nice alternative of metal and i like them very much but no it's not the future of metal it's cute metal a new genre. Because if it's the future of metal all metal band will shave there beard and put on skirt and look like kitties ? xD
@@Grapo77 True I was thinking if they went back to those songs that required constant headbanging, would they be able to preform it? It's fr hard on the neck later on hahaha
@@Grapo77 It was performed the following week at the 2 Nagoya shows in Japan - it was the hitachi version and yes Moa got to sing it just like Yui/Moa did for their 15th birthdays. We suspect it may not be sung often again though.

Riho, God bless her is visibly winded at 7:02 whole SU an Moa have just taken a stroll in the park 😂. Their fitness is on another level altogether... can't help but appreciate what they all put in for a whole concert's worth of sing and dance/ scream and dance. Long live Babymetal!! 🤘🦊🤘
For me is imposible not to have some tears in my eyes with Road Of Resistance. Su and Moa singing at the same time is priceless, Leda was on fire, glad to see the cameras on the Kamis. And really love the formation of only three megitsunes
i don't even know for sure if anybody's singing along in the crowd since they don't have mics, but i can honestly hear the response vividly. that's how intense babymetal's performance is here.
Exaggeratedly staged concerts in the arena are good. But the open air is even better. The flags fluttering, the hair and the clothes swaying in the wind. Under the natural light, Suzuka looks even more beautiful.
Somewhere I read a comment saying, "How have I survived until now without knowing Babymetal!" Yes, it's so happy to watch these girls, especially knowing their thick and thin history. I've been a big fan of Moa since when she was flying in the air as an NTT angel, 私はモアがNTTの天使になって空を飛んでいた頃からの大のファンだし、 and watched the big success and sorrow of Babymetal feeling proud as if my daughters are bravely growing. There are many reasons why I'm happy to be born in Japan, yet no reason is bigger than that Japan has given birth to Babymetal!
kami nothing but respect for Riho. Probably had only a couple of months to learn the routines, while Moa and Su have been doing this almost their entire lives.
@@Patro88 To be fair Su doesn't move alot during most of the songs. It gives the ilusion that she's moving when you see Moa and Riho spin around the entire song
God. I can't imagine being any happier that I live in a world where Baby Metal exists. There's nothing like them and if I grinned any harder my fucking 70 year old head would fall completely off.
Don't forget she sang two days in a row at consecutive arena concerts a day before glastonbury AND she traveled all the way to the Uk from Japan with that huge time difference. She really is something else.
RESPECT In every single way possible. Since the way the present themselves, the indumentary, choreography, musicians, the effort on give themselves completely on stage. It's amazing to see a real artist giving their art to others. This is for me what I love of Babymetal. The commitment they have to their music and the crowd, whose normally sceptical when they see them for the first time. And yet, when they perform out of their country, they never, EVER dissapoint on giving their best. It doesn't matter if you like them or not, if you consider them metal enough or not; It's the brutal amount of commitment and effort what anyone should recognize and applaud. Excellent as always.
Well said! I found out about them yesterday and I'm glad I did. It's surprising to see it took them this many years to get international recognition! But I hope to see them be a legend metal band in the likes of Megadeth, Slayer, Judas Priest etc..
When I hear Babymatal, I think I am going to believe in myself without thinking about anything for the time being, and I feel like hope is waiting for me. I am happy to meet Babymatal.
It's utterly utterly unfair to say sth about Riho's courage to participate in or even her performance there. You can't imagine how massive pressure she was on. It must've been predictable for her to be heard of loads of harsh comments from fans or just idiots, still she came over on her own. I'm pretty sure Su and Moa always support her, because that is BM which is the most polite and humble band you ever seen.
WOW they all did amazing, but look at how much effort Riho is doing at 1:50!! She really stepped up to the occasion, "Road of Resistance" choreo is so difficult and she did it like a pro!! I look forward to more of her performances with BM :D
