Any live version takes me away to where I never dreamt of. Studio versions work too if y took the time to love the song. But live is spectacular. I maybe once have seen a King Diamond show, that had this 'oh my-thank you god' moments. Difference is: King diamond or Death or... you exactly wanted to see this. Babymetal took my hand and wanted me to see them Like someone before said: maybe best band since many years!

We don't hate them, its just not brutal enough and to much fokus on the singers alone. And whoever you are talking about are probably not Metalheads. These people just need something to hate. In my opinion this is just as metal to you as Rammstein is to me, so rock on guys🤘
@@Takary-2004 metal means not always "be brutal as hell" on a performance side this band kicks all latest bands in the ass. seen alot of bands in my life and there are just a few on that level of perfection. the band itself is just a awesome. but of course, not everyone could enjoy everything .D its just the "its not brutal enough" that triggers me .D
I love them. But I introduced several of my music loving friends to several of their songs. And none of them caught on!! I love the music and the girls, even the Yui substitute.
I don't think you'll ever see that - there's no time for MC and costume changes at a Babymetal show. It's one song after the next with ZERO breaks. Costumes usually last an episode, before they are changed.
Their costumes are fine. I mean when you think that most metal bands just wear black t-shirts and black pants, Babymetal puts far, far more effort into the outfits they already wear.
I agree! I really liked the costumes from a previous tour called the "dark elf" costumes where they had headpieces and a more streamlined look, but a lot of fans complained so they went to back to a more "traditional babymetal" look

There are two in this video, Kano and Momoko. Both were part of Sakura Gakuin, just like Su, Yui, and Moa. They can all sing and dance very well. I didn’t see any shots of Riho, the third dancer they used on their most recent tours, in this video.
@@slovak4life1991 -- I kinda wish they'd make one of them a permanent member of the group. I love and miss Yui very much but it seems like it was her decision to leave.
When I first discovered this band every hipster-music snob bone in my body wanted to dislike it but I couldn't, and even if my conclusion were different, the fact that it forced me to do all the mental gymnastics in my head makes it good art by definition, besides metal kind of needed a feminine touch.

What do you mean by "other cultures"? Lmao. No one is crying because it's not appropriation. This is cultural appreciation. Of course a few people were whining but nowhere near the majority. Credit is given where it's due, only respect is paid and did it justice. It's a great song.

And proof that metal bands don't have to fill they're lyrics with a bunch of profanity. I'm not offended by swearing, I just think it's really lazy writing when half of the song is some band saying fuck or bitch.
Wdym cringeworthy ? This is a really catchy amazing song and has really good dance choreography. I'm an indian and I've got to say they did their research well unlike most of the non-indian artists I've known who use the traditional dances and clothings and a form of aesthetics only and know nothing much about the culture itself and do stereotypical stuff.
