I was at FOX_FEST in Tokyo a couple of weeks ago and I can tell you that Electric Callboy is already huge in Japan. The crowd for EC was almost as nuts the crowd for Babymetal. You should watch the live music video that was filmed at FOX_FEST.

Did you noticed Momo's growl? She did it on second "Are you ready?" (in the breakdown section) and was layered with Kevin in "Everybody" and "Loose control" at the end..

According to Su-Metal, BabyMetal had been working on a song but needed something to finish that song. BabyMetal reached out to Electric Callboy. From there the song became a 50/50 collaboration. Many fans have nicknamed this song as KawaiiCore. So far, EC & BM has performed this song in Japan & Germany.

Great "first" reaction.🤘🦊Both bands formed in 2010. Electric Callboy are great musicians, but you know that already and you know they like to have fun and inject some humour into what they do. BABYMETAL are the best live entertainment of any kind that I've had the privilege to experience in person. You won't have seen or heard anything quite like them, they pioneered their own metal sub-genre fusing metal with J-Pop hooks, melodies and aesthetics (including introducing choreographed dance to metal) and they are both original and unique. BABYMETAL have nearly 70 songs now, each one different to the last - some are good hard metal, some lean towards their pop roots, they do everything in between and they will also mix and blend in so many other musical styles and genres with the metal. Hopefully you will give them another listen (the official videos are good, but live BABYMETAL is where they are always at their best). Pick any song, you can't go wrong. 'Megitsune' live at PIA MM Arena from April 2023 would be a good place to start. It is one of their earlier songs and it shows a lot of what they are all about. Welcome to the Foxhole 🦊🤘🔥 It's always nice to see more reactors getting into this amazing group, they're a global phenomenon from Japan and trust me you have seen nothing yet. Here's a brief info about this amazing group: BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute) mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "baby-metal". They are: *SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26. *MoaMetal* scream and dance, now 24. *MomoMetal* scream and dance, she's 21 and is the new official member since April 1st last year. -YuiMetal- scream and dance, former member since 2018. None of them are related. After 2018 you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them are official members, they don't sing, only dance, but that status change recently like i said. There's no other group like them around and teaming up with this group from Germany just elevated them even higher. If you like Jpop and edm elements then you're gonna find a lot of cool songs blended with heavy metal in their latest album "The Other One" released last year. Songs like Divine Attack - Shingeki, METALIZM, Time Wave and Light and Darkness among other great songs as well tracks and live performance from early era will make you bounce and rock with this insane group. This single just reached Number 1 US Billboard rock/metal chart for the first time for both bands! Last weekend of May they did the live premiere of this song in Japan at FOX_FEST (a festival held by BM) and everyone went wild with this collab, the live version is already out if you don't wanna stop enjoying this song. Last weekend they played this together once again at Rock Am Ring and the day before at Rock Im Park in Germany twice in the same day, one during EC show and later at BM show. The girl in the middle is the lead singer SuMetal and she actually dance less than the other girls (MoaMetal and MomoMetal) because she sings most of the time but regardless she can dance and sing and you won't even notice she's out of breath. About this song: This was filmed in Germany and the concept of the MV is they're breaking boundaries with the genres and they don't care about corporation decisions, the office with the suits workers and the Japanese boss kinda represent that. The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus but it's probably used way back before in more songs. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with some guitar elements. The moment when they're bursting the wall is another homage to Aerosmith x Run DMC - Walk This Way MV, symbolism of breaking the boundaries with the music genres like I already said. Also one of the singers is holding up the cable with electricity during the breakdown it could be a reference to "The Cable Guy" movie. When I heard the official audio I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that in the MV, although later fans spotted in the live performance, so it was her after all as well in the third chorus when singing "Everybody". There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture that i probably missing a lot more. Fun fact: EC said in a reactor comment and later at their own reaction video that they did the bursting the walls scene in one shot, there will be a bts so we're waiting for more. The crew had to put all those disco ball on the celling manually just for this song. They met each other last year when BM went to see EC live in Boston and they asked them to work together, this is a 50/50 collab song. Next suggestion: - Road Of Resistance live in Japan official MV (2015). I'm gonna leave in my next comment where to get more proshot clips safe to react if YT allows me to do it. Thanks from Japan 有難う💛. BABYMETAL will return to USA and go on tour from Nov. thru Dec. to perform 18 concerts at 15 venues. (3 concerts in your state, CA Anaheim are being sold out) I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 😄. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (and group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) ★ The official live video was posted in RU-vid !! The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in some European festivals 💛。 (Just FYI, BABYMETAL also performed "Brand New Day" with Scott and Tim from POLYPHIA in the festival. That was beautiful and soothing.)

Great reaction! This is an amazing 50/50 collab! Not sure how familiar you guysare with Babymetal, but I do hope you guys check them out. Like EC, they started in 2010 and set out to make metal fun. Instead of "happy angry Daft Punk", they fused J-pop vocals and choreography with metal to deliver the most insane and over-the-top live performances. A decade plus of world tours, 4 albums, almost 70 songs later, they are a dominant industry heavy weight by any standards today, despite being in their mid-20s. Suggestions: *Road of Resistance (Pia Arena, MM, 2023):* Epic power metal anthem, and Babymetal's staple show closer for almost a decade. *Metali (Official LIVE):* Fun and groovy metal festival song, featuring Tom Morello. BABYMETAL is just "some Japanese artist?" That's kind of sad, guys! They are one of the biggest touring acts in the world, and they've sold out arenas all over the world including Budokan, Tokyo Dome, Wembley and the LA Forum. They've played the main stage at some of the world's biggest metal festivals, including Download and Rock am Ring. And they go waaaay heavier than Electric Callboy, with their backing band playing every genre of metal from thrash, to power metal, to prog metal, and even death metal.

Forget itbitvis simply the boy theme, when Babymetal starts with the Girl theme the song really starts. A real bridge. The cameras dudnt like Nico and Kevin in the same frame as Bavymetal. The girls are to tiny. They are full grown women but without some tricks it look likes Dads with their daughters.

Well I don't think that Electric Callboys would bevinterested. In fact when Momo was a bit to enthusiastic Kevin got quite nervous at the FoxFest.
