Probably the most beloved choreography of all Babymetal history, I mean, maybe Papaya, Headbanger or Gimme Chocolate are now more iconic but this definitely is the top favorite among The One

Every time I watch Wembley 2016, I cannot avoid thinking of MOA's words, I still can't believe her and YUI were totally unsatisfied with their performances there, this is one of their best shows ever, one of my favourites for sure. 🤘🏻🦊⚡

From the stage everything is perceived differently. Have you ever felt dissatisfied with yourself because of some small mistake or discomfort? Most likely, those around did not see any of this. Perhaps there was a tense atmosphere, or uncomfortable conditions. We don’t see or know this.

One thing was that supposedly Yui's earpiece kept falling out throwing her out of step, but I only noticed it once near the end of Song 4 and even then she was so professional you would only notice if you were looking for it.

The first incarnation of Babymetal at it’s peak. All three of them completely on point. Yui and Moa’s choreography is really great on this, with the band slaying as usual. Have watched this whole show many times now, you can see what the hype was about.

I love how Su-metal is so emotionally invested in this song. You can see the anguish on her face - "why does everyone say they're the same when they are clearly different???" Yabai!!! 😖

In 2016 I lived 7 miles from Wembley Arena but hadn't even heard of Babymetal. That crowd was in the right place at the right time 🎉🎉🎉 First time seeing Yava at that show. Stunning video, thank you as always for posting ❤❤❤🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻

I myself only found out about Babymetal in 2019, when my younger sister (metalhead) showed me a video. Some things are hard to find on RU-vid unless you specifically look for them. I was never interested in metal or heavy or japan music before.

Me too (I'm in Harringay). This is the conversation I had with my wife (who is Japanese) after I discovered them on youtube: Me: “check out this amazing band I’ve just discovered, they are called BABYMETAL” My wife: “Oh yeah, my sister said something about them” Me: “Really, what did she say?” My wife: “She said that she thought you would like them” Me: “When was this?” My wife: “Sometime around New Year” Me: “So your sister told you about an amazing band that she thought I would like a couple of months BEFORE they played a kick-ass show at Wembley Arena, but you didn’t pass on the message, and I only discover them now, a couple of months AFTER the show” My wife: “gomen” I've seen them live 3 times now, so all is forgiven.

@@Just-a-Thought. life changing for me too. Mostly because they led me into the rabbit hole of J-metal and alt-idol. I now spend my working days with Japanese music blasting in my ears, and go to as many live shows as I can get away with. Upcoming gigs include SiM, Esprit D'air, Mass of the Fermenting Dregs and Electric Eel Shock. I'll get tickets to Wack 2 as soon as they go on sale (I was too slow off the mark for Dir En Grey and Ado, but 5 shows in 3 months isn't a bad start to 2024) 🤘

So one thing that a bit disturb my mind. Are japanese kami (east kami) not there anymore? I saw their vid on their concert in 2023 at PIA Arena, there was only west kami and of course PIA Arena is in Japan. So, anyone know what exactly is happening there?
