For the chorus I got what you mean, The beat was strong that I didn't expect the chorus to be soft and cute but the more you listen to it it comes so addictive now it's repeating none stop on my head 😭 I'm just doing my business then randomly start singing fooo-o-o-or e-e-e-ever😭 Ruka truly slayed this cb! It's her era! And I'm so glad she finally got more lines and center part as deserved!

I think the outro is fire! I can see/hear it as the last song of their concert. Close your eyes and imagine you're at their concert and Babymonster is jammin this song and the beat drops out during this part and fans sing along loudly "for or or or, eh eh eh ever" and clap their hands vigorously for a minute or two. No one will want to stop. This is a great summer party/dance song!

The chorus has echos of second generation girl Kpop groups for me.... almost a homage, if you will. Which I think Korean fans will like and appreciate...also, general international kpop fans who've been around since the early generations. I like how they've combined it with their 5th generation style and overall talent, etc.

I love these reactions where you take extra time to review and give us your thoughts, always very insightful! After a few listen I am reeeeeally vibing with the chorus. I think I had the same moment of pause as you did because we expect so much "shock and awe" from these girls, but this song is almost more like summer vibes to me and it's so comforting to listen to. Top moments for me: Chiquita charisma in the beginning, my favorite verses from the rap line so far, and Rora + Pharita vocals in the bridge.
For me this is totally good. New babymonster tbh. You know what's funny? Some people complain that it's different from their style. But then again they also complain if it's an empty chorus, stronger beats and girl crush concept. At this point I can really say that they're just insecure cause this group is unstoppable

The chorus is a bit different, but honestly, it's a full on grower. I've heard it like 10 times now and it just gets better and better. The rap-section is just swinging hard here and the vocalists are shining. The MV looks insane as well. The album should be coming sometime after summer and I can't wait. We need a fan-name now!

This is just pre-release. YG added a Fanmeet Finale for two days in Seoul in August which will setup well for the real comeback - the Full length album in October. This song will slap in concerts there's no doubt about that.
You missed the whole point on this one. Pharita is stuck in a never ending sleep and is dreaming the whole thing. Elements of Disney movies with Peter Pan reference with Big Ben, the fireworks, and flying through the clouds, Cinderella with the glass slippers (silver high heels in this case) and as soon as the clock hits midnight they all smile for the rest of the MV because they didn't turn back into trainees, and mostly Snow White. Pharita wakes up with birds singing and the dwarfs surrounding her bed. Pharita is the only one with supernatural things happening through the MV: reflection does not follow physics, shrinks and is in the claw machine, flying upside down in the car on the clouds. The box with both shoes and invitation are proof that it never happened as one shoe was lost and she wouldn't have the invitation if she actyually went to the event. The original Snow White it was called the Forever Sleep. Lyrics pointing out that she is going to live forever and it is a dream over and over (double meaning like all YG videos). Once Pharita wakes up the music that started the MV begins and Ruka rings the door to start the whole dream over again. This is song of the year for me taking over the Everglow B side of "Zombie" which I thought was the song of the year before this dropped, "Colourz".
Did you see the room...401...They debuted on April 1st. I like the hook, though it took awhile for me to like it. Similar to my feelings of Blackpink's AIIWYL, took while but eventually grew to be one of my favorites.
Loved the slower parts and of course the rap! 🔥 Still not on board with the forever part but I liked what they did with it at the end. It would probably sound better in concert.
I like the chorus not taking centre stage in this song ...typically that's what the chorus is for but this song was built different and the rest of the verses were meant to take the attention.
It‘s sooo funny, cause I actually didn‘t like the first part of the hook (with the actual lyrics) at all at my first listens and loved the 2nd part soo much immediately, especially because it‘s very catchy and I LOVE the way they mixed and produced the girls vocals at that part and I love the tone they sung it. I needed 3 listens back to back when it came out and after that I got it. It is a certified bop. The bridge must be one of the best in kpop. The way Rora sings „I can see the bright horizon“ sounds incredible and sounds so touching, kinda sad, like you really feel with the girls and it‘s kinda a metaphor for this „party night“ coming to an end, and it‘s sad, cause that means the song end too. Everything BM does feels way too short😭😭 Like this is a 4 Minute song and it feels like a 2 Minute song. I found the line distribution very good on this, tho it annoys me that Rami was the only one who didn‘t really get to show herself on this track. I think they could‘ve given her the Asa or Chiquita part, the ones before the first chorus, because especially those both shined immensely. Asa through her rap and Chiquita through her little dance. It‘s just kinda sad because would they changed that, this would have been a perfect distributed song. Anyway: certified bop. Like the MV they are awesome. Having said that my question is why does Rami get 15 seconds in the vid and Pharita has the minuets and headliner role? I know YG favors Pharita over the other girls but Rami is to valuable to relegate to the back of the bus. Very disappointing

The song is okay for me..... i didnt like the "for eh eh eh ever part. It sounded cheesy for me. The rap and bridge part is the best. The pre-chorus and chorus is okay.
Maybe im just very much for the typical YG sound but this song did t really do it for me. Different part of the song didnt work togheter and just missed a good flow. The start and Pharitas high note before the rap was the best

It would be a shame to not create a BM lore now. They "Started" with the song dream. Until now much is "they are still dreaming" My honest theory is: Dream They are starting to dream about becoming big, and make the world hear their dreams and voices. From now then, is individuals showing part of their dreams or things they like. Batter Up Rami One of the things she enjoy is sports, batter up could be Rami's dream about being famous in music with a sport mentality, get into the game (music industry) and strike hard. But they are babies that need to become monsters. And Rora's egg/nails part shows, they are newborns. And Rora is crucial in everything from now on. The use of the maze make them bound to that place if they escape this could become a nightmare. SITM Rora I struggle to find the "one" on this. Ruka made sense until you see she's stuck in orbit. But so it's Asa, there's something different with them, and I dont have enough information to give, but Rora... It's elegant and emotional, like Rora, its her dream of perfection, romance, emotion, but something is missing and they are stuck with also the fans in this dream state and there's nothing to take them out. They are still in the maze. But Rora knows, she is the one you can see first smiling and she can make "magic", she is going somewhere in this video. Asa its in a field of stars yes walking, but she can only move forward or back, she is stuck. Chiquita and Pharita are the ones in the balcony, Rami is stuck in a bubble, Ruka, like I said, stuck in orbit. Rora it's the only that it's yes still "inside" but seems to be aware, and going somewhere. This shhhhht its a little Red Velvet, but, the idea YG its creating a "lore" to BabyMonster is also crazy, but they are. Sheesh Ahyeon Starting with Rora lay down is not for nothing, and starting with her in the piano it's also deliberate. Rora can now see the maze, and now she is commanding the girls for a second, she "lead" them to get up. While Pharita is watching, Rami is getting really angry, Chiquita is trying to find her way. Ruka will eventually be the one finding Ahyeon and join Asa. Asa will point they need to get "high, high, high". Pharita is no longer just passively looking, she is opening her eyes. Two times Asa point to something important, they need to get to the sky and she points to then Rora, walking in the maze, but she's not lost. "Laugh all you want" they found Ahyeon, now they are leaving the "Maze". Again, Ahyen say they need to go to sky and she opens the Maze door, alone. Its when all of them become monsters. Forever Pharita They are together but still dreaming, but this time its Pharita's turn, she is the Cinderella(She is the one using the pinkest pink dress) and its weird when all others do not use that color, Ahyeon does but not like Pharita, and there's no real maze here, they are out. They are enjoying finding eachother, and saying, "yes we are monsters, and we are free, bet we are doing some damage" And like everyone can tell, they are now awake, and some shhhhht about to go down. Btw the invitation is about Cinderella being invited to the ball, she had a fantasy night, but after losing the shoe, she needs to face reality, the dream was cool, but reality will he better, and a nightmare with monsters in the wild. Yeah, I have my doubts about them waking up, because if YG play the cards like their lore stqrted with dream and they will make dream and nightmare, it's much more cool. Now if the path is "Waking the monster", I really don't know what they will do...
