​@@BestFriendsReact Just to be clear: Its only rumors, that the dance performance was filmed 2 years ago. As far as I can tell, there is no confirmation or proof for that. The rumor started, when people found a video with LEEJUNG LEE (the choreographer) dancing to this choreography back in 2021 as part of YGX a YG dance group (and formerly also a dance academy to scout new trainees). But that only means, he reused an existing choreography (maybe the one that the members as trainees where already familiar with) for the performance video. This happens all the time and doesn't say anything about the date, that the performance video was captured.

@@Guthwulf11 I believe its a rumour because Chiquita is also not in it and is rumored to be a main/lead dancer, which means it was most likely filmed before she joined them. Added onto leejung making this dance 1/2 years ago.

@@warshawgameshd3432 Sounds possible. But I can see a lot of other reasons why this dance performance is the way it is. Do we even know, when Chiquita joined? YG spoke about "4 years of training" (all? just a few?). So in the end, without source or proof: It IS just a rumor (as you point out yourself) and should be treated / communicated as such. That's all that I wanted to clarify.

You've now met 6 of them. Ruka hasn't had an individual introduction but she was the one on the far left in the Dance performance, and Chiquita was not included in the Dance performance.

And of course the best singer in the world Sohyang. Watch any of her Immortal Song 2 and be blown by them. Imho, her best performances were those from King of Mask Singer.

Could be, that it is a regular evaluation (regardless of the date, because of the name tags) but I would be skeptical about it. These videos are part of the calculated marketing effort to build hype for the debut and not some random ("leaked") videos. EDIT: Btw... if it really is the typical (monthly) evaluation than they would have to create their choreography themselves as part of this evaluation (like it was talked about in the Blackpink documentary) and not reuse an already existing choreography. There would also be no credit to LEEJUNG LEE for the choreography. ;)

@@Guthwulf11 Why would they have name on them if no evaluation? Earlier I had doubts, but then it all makes sense. The assessors need to clearly identify the people being evaluated, live and also post dance. Why else would they need to have their names on them.

@@ignatiuschua5268 In a group dance performance? So that the viewers can identify and keep track who is who and where? ;) For me this "its a normal evaluation" theory doesn't make sense. We know how these evaluations normally look, work and are shot (from past examples). This is shot (camera work and more) and looks completely different from what we know as a "normal" evaluation. It also isn't a choreography they designed themselves which (as we know) should be the case if it is a group dance evaluation. Finally: These are carefully designed (or selected) performances for marketing purposes to build the hype. So I see more reasons that speak against that theory than for it. Of course nothing is impossible. That's why I'm asking for source and proof... the name tag (that also shows up in the solo performances of the non-korean members) isn't it.. I suspect those are just for the Koreans (that maybe don't understand English) to read their names. ;)

small correction: It's not the "foreign" members that have name tags in their solo performance. Asa (from Japan) doesn't wear one. Same with Haram. But Chiquita, Ahyeon and Rora do wear their name tag in their solo performances. The location where the group dance is shot seems to be the same as the one for Ahyeon and Rora (who both wear a name tag in their solo performance). The other three solo performances seems to shot in a different angle / room.

we have checked out a lot from them... we have reactions to the cypher, a few of their MVs and jsut check out the Move series, which should be up within a day or two.... thank you for the suggestion, i fully agree XG is the future

XG did it too....just watch their early pre debut video. They have more introduction video and colourful.

What would XG have to do with it?

Apparently, XG belongs to a super huge Jap company AVEX. And promotion wise, they do A LOT of promotions and very clever at that. I'm seeing them everywhere. Maybe what's stopping them from dominating kcharts is the fact that they're entirely Japanese. SK gen public has political beef with Japan. Fortunately, we're seeing more and more Japanese people in the entertainment industry in the past few years.

When xg’s debut, their company released fake news that they were a trainee at YG. In addition, the president has been criticized for mocking the level of K-pop. And xg countinues to appear on Korean broadcasting despite being criticized. Fans countinue to appeal that they are better than blackpink in terms of skills. U said XG didn’t chart in because Koreans hate Japanese? Stop saying that your brain says.
