Thanks for the reaction. Asa is from Japan and when she passed the audition she moved to Korea to become a trainee. The trainee process varies from agency to agency, but at YG the trainees mostly live in the dorm (Rora is the only Babymonster to live at home, but stays in the dorm on weekends school holidays). If they are of school age, they either go to school if they are Korean or are "homeschooled" at the agency if they are foreign. All the trainees do language classes at the agency also. They typically go to class in the morning, like 9 am to noon or one, then after a break, they are in training (dance, vocal, music production, etc.) either formally with an instructor or on their own until midnight or 1 am. They train every day with one day off every two weeks. They have evaluations at the end of every month on vocals and dance where they are graded on their skills and improvement, and sometimes eliminated if they are not growing enough or working well with the group. YG provides the trainees with all necessities (food, health care, gym, pilates, beauty care, etc.) and also a stipend of spending money. Once they become idols instead of trainees, YG usually moves them to off-site housing and provides for them unless they earn money (Babymonster had such a successful debut that they are likely earning their own money now and have paid off any debt to the agency). With Babymonster being still mostly minors, they may still live in the dorms or YG provides an adult supervisor in their company housing. Their managers also likely help them manage their money especially since they are so young, but they also all have families that have input. Each member probably comes from a fairly affluent family (especially Pharita), although it is not necessarily always the case

14:10 you guys were talking so u missed it but at at 11:07 Asa talked about how she first met Ruka at the Audition YG held in Japan. And then once they pass they sign a contract with an agency and move into a dorm at YG while training. YG does that a lot in other countries too like Australia, Thailand, ect. That’s how Rosé and Lisa of BP got scouted

Asa & Ruka Are Japanese Chiquita & Pharita Are Thai Ahyeon & Rami & Rora Are Korean It Was in The Introduction But Y'all Didn't Pay Attention 😂❤

So when they did Ruka's video they were still using the Korean age or was celebrating Ruka's 18 birthday at the new year but she would be turning 18 on March 20. You guys missed some of what they were talking about. Asa said when going out with Ruka that they met at the Japan auditions and when she came to Korea that Ruka helped her get adjected to living there. Remeber that most of the girls in BABYMONSTER comes from different countries. Ruka and Asa come from Japan. Pharita and Chiquita comes from Thailand. So those four members after they were picked from their auditions left their home to live at the YG building in the dorms. The YG building also has a convenience store inside of it along with the recording studio, practice rooms (BABYMONSTER actually has one of their own). The one thing that is funny is that they have all this in the build but no laundrymat. If you watch some of the behind the scenes, they have a cleaning day one and had to take everything over to a laundrymat outside of the building. So keep in mind that most of the trainees in BAEMON project was forgieners. I think that the ones that were blurred out in Asa's introduction video were the Chinese trainees. I could be wrong about that since some people claim that the Chinese trainees had to leave in 2020 when COVID became a pandemic. Or one of the blurred faces in the videos could be Minju that debut in ILLIT. Rora talks about being close to one of the members and it is also known that Minju was a trainee at YG most likely in the BAEMON project. The LAST EVALUATION (BEHIND THE SCENES) kind of gives you a little bit of what they do when they are not training. They do get outside and they do get time-off. But I think that there is Korean laws now to protect minors in the idol industry. They can only work a certain amount of hours per day. I don't know if they also made the education mandatory as well but I know that there was talks about that. Three fo the members attend Hamlin Higjh School which is for performing arts. From what I understand about the school is that they cater to students that are idols or idols in training. They understand that there idol students might miss days either because of appearances (Like BABYMOSNTER doing Fan Meets which they just wrapped up Thailand) or they are doing training for evaluations. So atnedance of the classes are very laxed. So Ahyeon, Haram (Rami), and Rora attend Hamlin. I think that Chiquita has an in-house tutor for her education.Not 100% sure about that but it would seem like that is the case.

The girls of BABYMONSTER came from 3 different countries. Asa and Ruka are from Japan. Chiquita and Pharita are from Thailand. Ahyeon, Rami, and Rora are the ones from South Korea. For the Japanese and Thai members, they, of course, had to move from their home country to South Korea and had to learn the native language. It's part of their training. That's why YG was commending them because it is never easy to learn another language especially at a young age, adding the fact that they also had to undergo extensive skills training and evaluations.

They said three times where she's from that when she was in Japan this that she met ruca in Japan that doing this in Japanese that but you guys look away from the screen when you talk to each other and you miss half the subtitles you end up having questions at the end of your videos that are all answered in the video if you guys would pay attention to what's being said

YG's trainee according to all BlackPink members. 13 days straight with one day off within 2 week period. Each day 12-14hrs, with 2-3 vocal lessons and 3-4 dance lesson. Also, diet trainee has to meet YG standards. No wonder Yg has the best all rounders/live performances and takes longer to debut a group.
