Her journey is like a lil bit similarity of HYUNSUK of TREASURE. We definitely see the vibes of them like a siblings vibe. The way they dance, rap, and fashion themselves. The swag is always there. The first time I heard her rap it was really like HYUNSUK. The way they rap is influenced by Yg rappers. So this is the New YG ERA ? Hyunsuk always said in his performance, This is the New YG 🔥 And since Yang Hyunsuk is back, he declared that he will the one who will handle TREASURE & BAEMON. They will definitely sweep the 4TH GEN ERA 💯🔥

Ruka seems to be very mature which translate well in her lyrics here. It will be really good if she has the freedom to write her raps in their music because she seems to be very well versed.

18 is typically when you enter college here and in japan and it is 4 years. she is going to be 21 next month so she would be in her junior year and would have been graduating by next year at 22. typically junior year is when ppl start looking into jobs and internships and some ppl even start working depending on the individual. I kind of relate to her because I had to do an extra 2 years because college was tough for me and I felt guilty that all my friends were graduating and entering the workforce while I still was in school and that parents would now have to help pay more money for the extra 2 years I stayed and that wayed on me so much.

It's been so hard for them that I don't understand how many people hate them just for being the next YG girl group, if the entertainment industry is tough I hope people don't make it worse

I like this strategy of YG showing the fragile side or sad side of the member because you will really expect they'll be compared with BP and through this, you'll root for them because they worked hard to debut.

In the Philippines, before the current educational system (kto12), we usually graduate high school at 16, then go to college and finished at 20. So usually, we start our career at 20. some at 18 if they take a vocational course which is only 2 years.

I think she meant some of her friends are already in college and (some) are already working to help their families. She was a trainee at that time and being a trainee is always filled with uncertainty bc nothing can guarantee her to get into the final line up.

I was already working and providing for my family (Im the eldest by the way) at the age of 21, just freshly graduated from College, in Asia the culture is so much different, You have to start as soon as you can, because experience is a factor in getting better opportunities and the pressure to provide and be successful is really highlighted here.

Lisa's learned from YHS how to judge on skills. He is never 100% satisfied. It's a tough love thing but also being satisfied can make the trainee lazy and careless. He doesn't nitpick but always sets the bar higher. In terms of strictness it's YG first. It's harder to get into YG than other agencies. Then you have JYP and SM.

People say they're missing out experiencing their teenage years like their peers. As an adult, I say, f that. If back then I had the talents, resources, and guts that these girls have, I'd go for being a YG trainee too and work hard to debut. Because after debut, I'd be earning millions enough for me to retire early and give my family a good life, not stressing about where to get money for my dad's and sisters' medicine and medical bills.

As an Asian I think it's normal for us to think how to help right away our family. It's an Asian thing. They want to help their family as soon as they can. Asian really has a close family ties.

In Japan people do not like to depend on others , they always try to be independent even from the age of 4 . And their educational system is faster than western countries. So basically it's normal that they would full fledged working in their early 20.

They way YG strategized this pre debute is GENIUS!!! YHS always feels more pressure with girlgroups. He said so himself when preparing for blackpink. Each girlgroups had different strategy. For BM it's just... "get to know them and judge them as you see and year them" Even so...there is a air of mystery around the girls. It's not just filmed by crew but also vlogs. It feels personal. I think the promo video with YG artist was a teaser for this introduction video. 6 more to go!!!

In Asian culture, once we got a job(full time or part time), we help our family financially.

I think in an asian household, the children always helps provide for their families at that early age, as long as you are working, you be providing. Well not all parents require their children but i think it's a characteristic and it's are way to say thank you for all the hardwork, love and sacrifices of our parents. Kuddos to ruka! She was supposed to debut with friends around her age in 2020 but covid hit, the delay keeps going on, and they all left in early 2022. Then Rora, Chiquita came in, they are youngest with short training times and they are too good, that’s why we have BABY Monster now.

What i understood by watching a lot of kpop since 2009 (lol), eventho it's too vague i guess in paper we can say that, "Lead" means the person (vocalist/rapper) presumably will be in charge of the key/transitional parts of the song. "Main" means the person (vocalist/rapper) presumably will be in charge of most of the parts of the song. e.g BB's Daesung is the "lead" vocalist, he mostly sang the transitional or the high note parts of the song while Taeyang as the "main" vocalist is more dominant. For lead/main dancer, i guess it is more about which one has the better dominant "visualization" for group choreos and maybe the overall acknowledged dancing skills in the group as a dancer will be the "main" dancer.
