@@efraherrera9409 there has been a few of the previous YG Artists like Gummy and Lee Hi that mentioned their submitted written and proposed songs for a comeback but were rejected. This may be the reason, tho not so sure. That's what I just remembered from the interviews I watched from them.

@@efraherrera9409 lot of YG artists do write their own comebacks though!! Groups like WINNER and AKMU heck even BIG BANG has always self-composed their own comebacks and albums. There’s a saying about YG..they are more about the quality of music than quantity. I feel it is more YG management or the ones who are involved with planning the comebacks/releases. For sure YG artists who are known for composing their own music has all the music ready to put out..unfortunately it is not within their power to release it without the green line from management. That has always been one of the downsides of being a fan of YG artists in general. Sometimes hiatus last 2-4 years because “music quality”. But we also have to understand artists are also perfectionists too and they want to make sure their putting out their best work without rushing or pressure on it. There’s always two sides of this and I understand both. As for BABY MONSTER, I know there is probably 2 or 3 members that have the ability to write and even compose their own music and lyrics/raps. Maybe they will be able to contribute to lyrics and maybe soon their own composed songs in the future. It’s the same thing with TREASURE, a good amount of members are talented in lyrics and composing. They got to be credited for their rap or songs that got put in their albums. As for BP, they have a main producer aka TEDDY. He’s usually doing their music, but the members themselves are capable and talented to write their own lyrics and possibly compose their own songs as well. Every YG artists have different situations and some has the freedom to compose their own songs and albums. However, it is not them who make the final decisions about comebacks or debuts.. that’s all YGE management right there.

@@efraherrera9409 I don't know the reason but jennie for example has talked before about participating in the song Stay on a video before and that part has been taken down by the company.she also said she participated in her Solo but she has no credits on it. it has been a thing with yg girl groups Even 2ne1 there was time where i think cl didn't get credited for participating in songs. Same with blackpink, maybe if they did participate in a song it wouldn't fit the vibe of the group that's why they mostly work with their in house producers. But one thing for sure is i think the company dosen't prefer it. I hope things will change with the new group

That's why they planned to watch hers alone in a separate video. There's nothing wrong about, but it just made me sad she was skipped. But having them focus on her alone is good too.

no, I don't think so just because they write in their assesment doesn't mean they will write in their debut. that's another area where YG is very controlling. It didn't happen with CL and we know they also wrote their rap parts for evaluation assessments too

@@rosiepasta302 I mean is has been implied in their interviews that bp had been more involved in some of the lyrics but YGE doesn't necessarily give them writing credits. Not only with bp it was known that Hanbin from Ikon partially participated in the writing of whistle and it wasn't given credit only unitl much later when ikoncs were complaining. My point is that YG doesn't always give that much freedom in the lyrics maybe it has to do with royalties. Sure, here they are showing some baemon monsters writing but this is something most YG trainees did during evaluations here they are showing the process they didn't show for other Yg groups.

I also felt that YG will not strike them for copyright . They are introducing the group and encouraging people to judge them There are times that YG even called reactors to react to some of their videos.

YG was very cool about it, it was actually a problem with the owners of the original songs as they were covers, RU-vid's copyright system is very weird at times and so many companies can take advantage, I know this can be super annoying as a viewer, I once again apologize, and hope at least you could enjoy some of our input

@Efra Herrera gotcha, and I recognize that what you do here is unique so you have to be extra careful. I think the companies are shooting themselves in the foot when they copyright reactors, who are promoting the music in ways that the companies never could. Remember when they briefly took down Lisa's The Movie for using Destiny Rogers's Tomboy? Destiny had to throw a fit because Lisa's use drove Destiny's career to a whole new level. That use in The Movie was a different circumstance, the point in common is that well done covers really promote the original artists. Just another thing that's messed up about the system.
