It’s pretty obvious he said this way before he revealed all 7 members on RU-vid. Just look at Jennie’s hair color, this last evaluation was made last year. He probably just said that either to test their determination and scare them into working even harder or at the time he genuinely was planning on not making it a 7 member group but later on changed his mind because of how talented they all are. Knowing YG he wouldn’t reveal these girl’s names, faces, evaluation performances, and give them free publicity for nothing. Babymonster will debut as 7, mark my words

Yeah from what I watch from yg. He usually debut and keep them if they ever did not debut a certain person because he knew how hard this person train. Idk if I remember correctly. During winner and Ikon they were competing before but winner won and then after few months or yrs I think ikon debuted. I really thought they wouldn’t make it and go to other company. So I hope they all debuted.

Winner ikon both groups debuted. Yg wanted 7 member group but debuted 12 for treasure. He will definitely debute all 7 BABYMONSTER. Because they're all gems and YG and the artist will lose if they are excluded or move to another agency. YG wants the best! He got it... but when he sees potential /expectations arent met yet he would challenge them. What veter than to shake their confidence on their debute position. That's survival... the raw talent he seeks and the determination will flow out. I trust him.
