It just broke my heart when Jennie said: "I think it would've been good if someone told me this when I was a trainee" To me it just proves how since the begining it was always them for themselfs. I'm loving seeing this mentoring side from them because in the end of the day, only they know exacly what this girls will face when they debut, so having them to praise them and giving some advices, it's amazing ❤️ And I really think that all the 7 girls will debut!! maybe the initial thinking were having a small group, with less then 7 members, but after the last evaluation YG decided to keep all the girls because he saw how amazing and complete they are as a group and realized that it's a waste of talent just exclude one of them of the final lineup.

JENNIE: I think the most memorable person was PHARITA. I think you sing so so so nicely. Your voice stayed in my mind the most. I love how she is getting acknowledgement from Jennie and audience, even before her debut. Really hope and wish her best for her bright future. She has so much potential and talent. This shows the real monthly evaluation in K-pop industry. The monthly evaluation is very stressful for the trainees. Blackpink also has been in this process for years.

Love how jennie as a mentor for she is not someone who puts pressure but rather motivates the girls because she knows the feeling of being a trainee she's giving advice from experience she really is a good mentor.

They will debut as 7 members because: 1)Looking from jennie's hair the video was probably filmed around April 2022 and it's just that they released these vids now. 2) 7 girls/trainees were spotted at treasure's concert in November 2022 and op stated that jihoon congratulated the girls for surviving the survival show, so 7 members are gonna debut. 3)The way yg showed us their 2018-2021 videos (where 3 ex trainees were still there) speaks so much that the whole last evaluation episode will be their 2022 monthly evaluations and how they finally debut as 7 MEMBERS. Cause if ex-members got blurred, what's the point of showing their faces, spending budget for INTRO videos just just to eliminate them. to embarrass these young girls? AIN'T NO WAY

If these girls fits together like a puzzle then they all will definitely debut however if YG feels someone doesn't fit the team, he will definitely be cutting them. YG has done both scenario. He has cut someone from BIGBANG before eventhough he was known to people as a trainee and had trained so long. On the flip side, he has also decided to add more members to TREASURE when he couldn't let go of some very worthy trainees. YG formed groups that have all been successful... they have produced most of the best KPop can offer so whatever the final lineup becomes, I believe that would be the best one.

I am with you, I will not just be sad if it is not all 7, I am going to be MAD 😡. I love how they support one another, and help each other with the others parts, Pharita's English diction is so spot on. Ruka being the eldest sister encouraging the younger ones when they get frustrated and stressed is so cool. Ahyeon singing is very good as well. When you listen to Gone, it is just so nice to listen to, but Rose' just makes those vocal flips sound so easy, but recreating them is pretty darn hard. Love how Jennie is giving wisdom to BM that they can take with them for a lifetime.

Evaluation is just YG's mediaplay lol. YG s debuting all 7 members. Evaluation was done last year. All 7 attended Treasure's concert late last year and Jihoon congratulad all of them for surviving the evaluation

We all figured it was a promotional stunt to give them a last evaluation. And also to see how close they are,.. if they hold together. I think you can see that several of them are really closely bonded in this early footage. They ARE going to be working together long hours A WHOLE LOT. Let's see how tight they really are. If they fall apart NOW, how are they going to be on long tours? I'm sure it's just a test,... unless they see an cracks in their performance.

The bar has been set so high because of the success of Blackpink. To imagine coming up with another combination like the Pinks will be very difficult, but I'm hoping for the best.

It’s really cool to see what the producer brings to the table. If he didn’t suggest that part change then Pharita may have not gotten the praise she did from Jennie. Because if she had tried that part and failed then it may have affected the rest of her performance. It’s easy as a fan to make judgments on whether or not she should have done that part but it was clearly the right call by the feedback she got from Jennie. Plus she was free to put all of her focus and energy into the parts she was given without the added pressure of a part she was not confident in to start with. Gives me so much more respect for Rosē as she does this with such ease.

Watching episodes about Babymon makes me feel bad for BP even more. Start from just thinking about Lisa. At that time, no one was allowed to speak with her in English while in this VDO they spoke to international trainee in English, even it might be just for filming But let's just think how much pressure BP got at that time And we wouldn't get any chance to know them if some of them got eliminated from the 'last' evaluation

Idk why you're shock about the "Last Evaluation" bcuz it's pretty normal for companies to do this before debuting a group. This is how we find out how the members were formed, I'm confident that its gonna be Ot7 bcuz why would YG split them into two groups, so it's obvious he haven't decided yet.

Great Reaction ! With what I see in this ep, I still believe they will keep all 7 members. Indeed, You can tell how YG build up Baemon as their real weapon. Talk of the town ( they have haters already ...Sigh...) Massive fanbase, each member has her own true supporters. YG really know how to plan this group BIG. One hint that I know, Pharita is one of the group members. Remember when Pharita's mom sent a balloon for Lisa and Blackpink when they had a concert in Bangkok? And it is from "baby monster pharita". And for sure, this is just a media play. If YG didn't debut all of them, it may cause a downfall for the group. They are just using this for hype but I feel sorry too for the girls, because in one video, you can see Winner, Akmu and Blackpink members are in one frame, the pressure of girls have on their shoulder are so heavy.

When I saw him say it wasn’t going to be 7 people, I instantly thought he would drop Haram and Chiquita. Not because they aren’t good but even in Chiquitas introducing video, they acknowledged that she was still finding her sound. I hope all 7 make it, but I also hope they do what is BEST for BabyMonster.

If one of em is actually in danger of being cut, to answer your "why tho?" and disdain for the process, it's basically what all trainees go through at all these companies anyway. They get a ton of trainees then cut em down until they're satisfied. BLACKPINK, in theory, started off as 9, if you remember. So it is what it is. If someone messes up during this process and YG wants to cut em, it's just like any other day in kpop, lol. YG groups like Winner and Treasure were also formed through reality competition shows and plenty of talented kids didn't get to debut. That said, based on the wording here when YG says "I haven't decided how many members should debut", it's vague enough that he's probably satisfied with all 7 debuting and just wants to do this eval for some content.

YG deliberately set us up with releasing all of the individual stuff then dropped this final evaluation process. Obviously all of this happened a while ago. I think in the end YG will decide to debut Baby Monster as OT7. Nothing else makes sense. If it's not OT7 there is going to be a huge backlash of hate for YG.

BLACKPINK was originally a seven-member debut group, but was suddenly changed to a four-member group just before their debut.

Um, BABYMONSTER will debut as 7.. its obvious, because this ''LAST EVALUATION'' was filmed last year in april.. Because of Jennies orange hair.. its obvious this was filmed ages ago.. A proper blink will notice Jennies orange hair and know that this was filmed ages ago. XD... This video is just showing how their last evaluation went before being announced as Baemon.

I actually agree with YG about the last evaluation. We've seen all the girls and their talent as individuals, something must not be meshing well as an entire group. It reminds me of what Teddy said in the BLACKPINK doc about how they had the talent but needed to find what worked the best sonically. This evaluation will reveal that.

I saw the video pop up, but didn't watch it before watching your reaction. So, this was also my first time watching it. I have such mixed feelings about potential member cuts.😣 On the one hand, I have never been a fan of larger groups. I tend to avoid groups with more than 5 members, with occasional exceptions. I was disappointed when Baby Monster was first announced for this reason. However, I think it would be super messed up for YG to initially promote BM as 7 members, getting the audience familiarized/attached to them, just to suddenly cut half of them right before debut when they have all worked so hard for so long. On the other hand, my personal preference is for groups with less members. However, I wouldn't mind them so much if they were done better. Instead of jamming all 7 members onto every song, they should assign 3-4 members per song. Not unchanging subunits, but different combinations of members for every track. It would be such a better way of doing things & no one has tried it yet. Stay tuned for whichever company randomly comes across my comment & steals my idea. You're welcome.😂

I don't know if this is real and don't know how it gonna end up with. But after watched this 1st episode, a thought just came up. I feel it's a "Mindset Adjusting Program" We know that life is not just a straight road, there are walls separating each parts. They can't have just amateur 'girls who like stage' attitude to survive trainee life. They needed a special mindset to make it to the end. However, that special trainee's attitude will never be enough to survive in real world in the industry. At the start, you can quit whenever you want, and it's just about you, solely. In trainee day, no matter how hard it is, deep down you know you still can quit at anytime. But this time, it's about years of your effort, and your family support .... go to waste. However, after debut, after your go pro, everything will be so much more complicated than that. That's why "Mindset Adjusting" is very important to turn any best trainee to a real pro. However, I doesn't mean that I like watching minor sweet girl(s) crucified publicly.

He made their last evaluation into a show and said maybe not all of them will debut but we all know yg is not a stupid business man.
