This is a performance I hope these young people are proud of these six years later, as I listen in coronavirus lockdown and recall how beautiful the world of orchestral music was, and hopefully will be again.
I studied this glorious work by the immortal JS Bach for O level, in 1964. Have listened to it many times since. So what a great joy to hear it again, played by two incredibly talented young Polish violinists, accompanied by a most accomplished orchestra from Krakow, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Natalia and Zuzanna - I am watching this in 2021. I wonder how much your remarkable musical skills have developed in these intervening 8 years. You and your fellow musicians are a great tribute to Poland. Thank you and We’ll done!
J. S. Bach, the most prolific and talented composer, of all time. I am half French and half Italian, German at heart and living in beautiful New Zealand. I am so fucking lucky, indeed.
Oh heavens...this really rocks. The Tempi is just right (often performers tend to rush it in an attempt to be "authentic"thereby missing out on the architectural interplay of the two soloists) Thanks so much for brightening up my day.
In these days of the pandemic, it feels like each day has forty hours. Fortunately we have such wonderful music available to help maintain some semblance of sanity.

Just a short sentence, "thank you beautiful orchestra for offering us your talent in this sublime and difficult concerto in D minor by JS Bach, the two soloists are in great dress and to be respected, it is only beautiful in their youth, their sense of music and the beauty they offer us in a completely remarkable interpretation of this masterful work, you lead us all towards a path where Force and Peace reign ... Bravissimo to the orchestra and its conductor for this wonderful and delicate accompaniment "... BRAVO, A THOUSAND TIMES BRAVO AND THANKS
Definitively, series of concertos BWV 1041-1042-1043 of Bach are inventions that blow our mind by a genius with an extraordinary musical sense, great heart and great sense of work.
Nothing compared with classical music. It's always classic. I heartly thanks to Akademia Fi... For preserving and uploading this gem concerts and classic melodies. Take my respect from India.
The music of a Genius! Many think there is a link with mathematics in this piece - timing, harmony, balanced equations etc ? It is a very complex piece but pleasing to the ears! There was no computers in Bach’s day - done through sheer love of music! I wonder if anybody will listen to some of the trash that is generated today in another 300 years? I doubt it! Fraser!
I find the second violin part in Andante so beautiful and the performance was wonderful. Thank you to the conductor and to every performer, I enjoyed this so very much.
+Deborah 1995LeFer Maybe the socialist system of government had some benefits, too. Art and culture for one flourished throughout eastern Europe. I don't think the West ever intended to follow through with expectations it had created.
Pretty soon my friend and I will be playing this concerto (but with mandolins) and I am practicing it using this video.... 🥰 I feel that I am part of the team... Thank you very much !!
J.S Bach would be proud. I'm working on the 1st movement right now, I'm 10 years old, I think this song is truly a work of art. He created this masterpiece and yet, we didn't let him down.
This is an extraordinary performance. Bach is my first love, and I would rank this near the top, and I already have many favorites there, Heifetz/Friedmann, Menuhin/Oistrakh, but this is scintillating in so many ways and moments. In the Olympics of the Double Bach, we'd give this a 9.9 or 10. And from such fresh youth, teens? Quite remarkable bravura. Bravissima!
Wonderful Baroque Music. This is to be the best performance of the Andante's part of J.S. Bach BWV 1043. Thank you very much to Akademia Filmu i Telewizji for sharing. Greetings from Indonesia.
BRAVO !!!. Saludos desde España.
