Bach - Episode 17 

A reunion with the Great Bach in the wonderfully animated version by Mr.Peter Fielding is a delight every time .

can’t wait for the next episode, binge watched all of them😍

I can't possibly understand how I didn't praise this episode's unfathomable quality sooner. Not only are the animations progressively improving while keeping at their core the very essential and distinct elements of your style, but the pacing is beyond delightful as well. And the rather balanced foreshadowing in regards to the marriage between Leopold and the Princess of Anhalt-Bernburg manifested through the last piece's minor key really conveys the significance of Bach's days in Köthen being numbered thereon. Though of course, the rest of the episode was equally as entizing to watch, especially the abrupt cut of the 3rd Brandenburg Concerto's 1st movement by the Prussian Margrave (rather unfortunate how internally militaristic and devoid of cultural interest the Prussian State apparatus was before Frederick the Great's ascent to the throne, though that is an entirely separate topic). In short, your episodes continue being priceless masterpieces and I'm certain that they will be kept held as such for the years to come. In case I ever were to give a lecture or something similar on Bach's biography, you and your series would be doubtlessly credited (if you allow me, of course). Lastly, thank you, Mr. Fielding, for bringing him back to life in such a selfless format. I know I've said this a couple times before, but the statement remains true for me and many others among your subscribers, I'm sure of it.

During the last 5 days or so I've been watching all the episodes you've published so far, all thoroughly enjoyable! I found you series after I was trying to explain temperaments to my girlfriend and searched for a video to aid me in explaining it. From hence on I will recommend your series to everyone I meet with the slightest interest in Bach. I hope the videos will be available online for years to come so that I can continue referring my friends here to watch them. Thank you for your work and best wishes from Umeå, Sweden.

BRAVO, BRAVO, Peter. What great entertainment for Bach lovers, what great introduction for kids and Bach starters. It’s just a pitty that meanwhile I am running out of words, when explaing, how cool your artwork actually is. After 17 episodes, which we experienced together in such a long time meanhwile. You do know, that I love most, when you combine historic real photos and your drawings. I think there are not many of such combinations more on the planet. The music is selected matching the sceenes to perfection. One detail however impressed me additionally with the big „counting disciplines“. It’s the shaddow play in this episode, starting with Bach’s face. How cool ist that! Peter, that’s real professional, entertaining and a cool pleasure. Thank you so much, best regards Peter

I believe that some day, perhaps after you're gone, the RU-vid algorithm will bring this series to the wider audience it deserves, perhaps not unlike how Bach was all but forgotten for decades until the Bach Revival.
