No slight to the flute intended at all, but...how about the gorgeous sound of that harpsichord?!! And what a luscious acoustic they found to play in! Beauty in abundance.

I had my headphones on so I wouldn't disturb my wife. I thought, okay, she can enjoy the harpsichord later, but as soon as the flute played the first measure, I took off my headphones and told her, You have to hear this.

I can't stop watching this for weeks! I'm learning this piece myself, but my playing can't compare to Kate! 🤩 And the accompanist on the harpsichord....such angelic playing.

It's crazy how notes inégales are technically very similar to swing yet feel so different. Brilliant performance.

Superb playing! and Bach is the master of course. I studied Baroque flute in Uni but I never got anywhere close to your perfection in tone and technique. You make it look effortless; I know firsthand how difficult that instrument is.

The tone you produce on the Baroque Flute is enchanting. I'm guessing that is an exceptional instrument, though I imagine Baroque Flutes preserve their sweet charm. Modern Flutes and Violin bows trample the beauty of Bach's melodies.

One of my favorite little Bach pieces since hearing David Russell play his own transcription of it for classical guitar. Very beautiful and moving in his hands; and this rendition goes even deeper and higher. Thank you!
