I can literally feel the hairs on the back of my neck every time I listen to this masterpiece. Breathtaking to say the least, Bach was a genius and his work never gets old…..Karl Richter was put on earth to get the best of his work and what a job he did! Outstanding
Some of the most brilliant music ever written. One feels what the heaviness of flesh would be like for God to take on for the first time. And then slipping into death before the triumphant resurrection. Simply stunning! I nearly fainted the first time I heard it.
