Spengler wrote in the "decline of the west" that bach's counterpoint music was the coronation of the search for the divine....here we are !! In other words how a geometric sonic construction can express the infinity, the universe.
Thanks, delightful n peaceful to listen this, best elegant instrumental music tune. Sounds of silence, very refreshing and relaxing the mind n heart. A beautiful lovely masterpiece for all!🙏🤔
Words move, music moves Only in time; but that which is only living Can only die. Words, after speech, reach Into the silence. Only by the form, the pattern, Can words or music reach The stillness, as a Chinese jar still Moves perpetually in its stillness. Not the stillness of the violin, while the note lasts, Not that only, but the co-existence, Or say that the end precedes the beginning, And the end and the beginning were always there Before the beginning and after the end, And all is always now. -T. S. Eliot, Burnt Norton (Four Quartets)
I just wrote this elsewhere having not seen your comments... Indeed! Being a huge fan of Beethoven I came to the same conclusion and now I remember reading that Beethoven, toward his material end, became enamoured of Bach. And here we hear it! Yet, I would say Beethoven's emotional impetus and sense of drama adds an extra dimension of accessibility for the uninitiated.
@@lorenzovalerio8063 I had a dream of being in Bonn for that fine day ... oh well, regardless of all else we've been blessed to hear his music far more than any generation in history. For all the modern world's fault we have Beethoven on demand ♥️♥️♥️
I live with people who don't enjoy classical music as a general proposition but they immediately enjoyed this... though they didn't stick around for.very long lol Here we find an outpost, one of the last vestiges of beauty and aesthetic morality of civilization as we've known it. We are all that's left lol
That's me. I don't like classical music. I'm all about pop, rock, punk, reggae, metal, etc. But this Bach String Quartet sounds amazing to my ears. I don't know why.
the only thing school taught me that i actually cared about. i would not have learned this song existed without it. when bach wrote this song, he wrote his name into the notes. so i shall forever call it: Bach's song.
