Seriously. One cannot fully appreciate this until they try and play it. I have been trying to follow along at half your speed and am perplexed. After watching almost every video of someone playing this piece I can say without a doubt yours is the best.
@@milanradulovic3915 Edison's version is basically a direct transcription for classical guitar. Satoshi's version is improvised metal. You can't really compare them, but to me Edison's version is more beautiful, but this version has more emotion IMO. Obviously the classical technique needed to play the fingerstyle version is much tougher--it would probably take me a year to learn it (and i play classical and metal) whereas i get this version down in a few days,. But thats not really fair either cause Edison is probably twice this guy's age lol.
@@arroncusimano9169 There are many, many influences of metal. Blues is one of them (and that in itself is a mix of all sorts, not just African folk music), classical is another, middle eastern music is an often overlooked one, the list goes on...
One of the greatest pieces in music history. And as you show, it is still relevant some 300 years after it was composed. As Pat Metheny said (to Rick Beatto), "Compared to Bach, we all suck."
Wicked AWESOME neoclassical shedding! Very well done & Thank you very much for the Tab' - this music piece has just about everything: harmonic minor scale, pedal tones, 3 notes per string, counterpoints, arpeggios.... it's another Bach composition that emanates musical theory & virtuosity = that's why he's one of the greatest musical deities ever! Rock on!
Dude , this made me so emotional , I had to leave the room for some privacy. And I never shed a tear usually out of any normal reason ,,, only music moves me. The only other time i had it was when i saw some girl on yt covering Master of puppets. Greets , thanks for the tab.
Brilliant!! I was watching again the original performance video, getting towards the end and thinking the only way this could be better would be if it had tab and a midi file, and then the link to this video popped up! Thanks for the great performance, and for sharing the tab and midi. 👏👏👏👏👏👌👍
Bravo, superb performance bravo 👏 👏 👏 And also, thank you for the backing track, I've just downloaded it. I'm starting to learn this masterpiece and I hope one day I can make it justice.
i like how the video is 1440p and still looks like shit xD. great video and tab, man! sounds absolutely awesome, i'm trying to follow the tab on my guitar rn
Damn bro this is exactly what im looking for, theres a tapping version of this song but tapping is extremely easy, im trying to improve my quick picking, thanks im watching this around 100 times i guess 😅
Thanks for the inspiration! I used your backing track and just posted my own version. Nowhere near as polished as yours but I've always been a sloppy player....I used most of your arrangement but changed the tapping to picking and added tapping for the improv solo. Much fun!
Woah, this is one of the best representations, the tone seems very on point feeling a little creep like the organ would, what pedals, effects amounts pickup did you use?
thats a weird coincidence, because i was recently trying to learn this piece and i was really amazed by your performance, would be cool if some pro could tab down your solo
Is it electric guitar also my Instagram is blackbellreinex and nooo I’m not trying to promote myself it’s just RU-vid isn’t the best place to talk since the whole notification thing is weird but I’m trying to learn it on electric guitar 😀
WHAT is the CHORD being played towards the end of TOCATTA after the decending part (on high e & b strings), immediately prior to the ascending Diminished-Seventh run?
Aaaah me beg xdddd I wanna see note by note tabs bc I been learning the song and imma be loving it a lot if I would learn the solo and eventually pick up the pace to your speed
@@litehaloDJ I'm sorry there is no TAB The TAB of this video was created with Power Tab Editor, Windows 10 does not work well and the file is broken and can not be opened Now it's only left as an image
