I was trying to work out why is he a better dancer, what is it that he's doing differently and I found what's the difference. When she dances, she mostly moves her hips, but when he is dancing, he is moving his hips amd also upper body (shoulders). That's, what's making a huge difference.
Due to having a different center of gravity, women tend to move the hips more than men, and men move the shoulders more. It's just nature. Also, many Caribbean dances (such as this one--Bachata, which is Dominican) call for women moving the hips more than men (it looks more feminine that way).
