After 6 lessons I saw this new video and thought the combos rather complex, but after a few more lessons and several hours of social dancing and sympathetic guidance, most of them look doable; so practice, practice, practice and you can probably exceed your expectations! Thank you Marius and Elena.
I love how you guys show the moves …..and your energy is great ….and I get a good laugh at the face gesture’s the both of you make….keep up the great work ….. cheers from Canada
I really like this video, teaches a lot with being overly complicated. One thing I am not sure on is how do you indicate a wave with the hands? Literally move like a wave? Keep up the good work!!!
The first bachata tutorial that my husband and I finally understand! and believe me we watched a lot . We appreciate your precision, don't talked to much about the technique and that you focus more in the execution. Thank you guys, you are amazing teachers. I think we finally able to dance our first bachata dance combo in a fiesta latina 💃🕺🏻
Love these combos. Thank you so much you guys. We started dancing a couple of months before the pandemic and we're just now getting back into it, and I discovered this gem of a video. You lead it right, partner will follow. Thanks a million for adding some spice to beginner's moves.
They make it look so easy. I'm a new beginner, and it's tough to find someone on the same level to practice with. Lots of dancers in beginners class usually already have experience. Gonna stay the course though !
Combo 7 is my favorite although I've never been taught it. The slide and wave just looks nice in social dancing, and is a cool figure to do if you run out of ideas on the 4 count.
We understand 🥲 many schools around the world don't focus on student progression. Our groups last 6 months minimum (1 level). We have groups that have 2 years so it's easier to progress when you have a progression.
this is fantastic! thanks guys. ive had a lot of classes but still dont have enough moves to get through an entire song. i've watched a lot of videos but they either havent had enough moves or were too complicated. this is exactly what i was lookiung for. not sure why others didnt make content like this. i think this will be all i need. any suggestions on how to remember all this? in the first combo you gave names for everything (pretzel, walk, undo etc). idk what the rest of the moves are called though. any suggestions?
The hand, when you want to turn yourself, must be directed towards yourself. Past the middle line of the couple, and have a little bit of tension. This way, she will understand that is something happening on your side.
Always there is a sequence of 2 signals that followers need to know: where, and what. But we understand what you are saying. It would be a lot easier if the followers wait until the last moment to understand what is going on.
@@onoes9646 It's possible. Try to focus on what you want to do, and analyze the result, than modify the signal... Trial and error. This is the best way to learn. Especially because each one of us dances in it's own way.
Not quite. There are many different details. It's like saying if you learn the basic step side to side, you already learned the basic step forward and back. Besides being the basic step, there are many details that are different. Hope this helps.
