Ben is an Amazing guy. He’d be a WONDERFUL catch for anybody. Ben I don’t think it’s a sensitivity thing I think it’s a confidence thing. Sensitivity in a guy is a beautiful thing!
I never saw the chemistry between him & Lauren, so sad for him that it didn't work out though, it was obvious when he walked away from the last show he's trying to move on in his own time because he's far from over it
Gena...seriously, just saying that he could not win to even speak of one of Lauren's faults was enough and I actually do agree with that. But apparently your reply could not follow the gentleman and respectful quality of your one of your man crushes Ben since you had to unnecessarily add "just stfu". We are not supposed to know the gender of every poster here but the intelligent mind still could have picked up on the key word respect in the following of their gentleman and respectful fan crush. He's a remarkably emotionally intelligent man, and also a very good listener. I was watching the intensity on his face when Lauren was asking her questions -very rare.
In my opinion, he is the most authentic man to come from the bachelor franchise. I hope he finds a gal that matches his genuineness and vulnerability. He deserves it!
He was into the girl we saw on The Bachelor, but she didn't really exist. I did take a peep at their show...she was annoying and he seemed miserable. He also is not ready to commit. It's obvious.
Ohh please, the reason they broke up is because these shows are not about love, they are about competition, there is a reason that most of these couples end up breaking up. This show is basically a prettier version of survivor.
It's really clear this guy needs to work through his own emotional stuff for awhile. He's too high maintenance right now. Forget the looks for a minute. He realizes he's too sensitive and that can be a big obstacle. He's always admitted to self-esteem issues, let him get stronger and then he can meet someone. THERE IS NO RUSH. He'll figure it out. He needs to be alone so he can focus on himself.

I suspected Ben being an only child would affect his relationship because of sharing. Only children have head strong and is usually difficult for them to out themselves in the other person's shoes. It's a me thing.

Some people cannot ever figure out when to not have an opinion. Ben, sometimes you go with the flow. And with a beautiful woman, it's most of the time! Consider this analogy: You take all the Black Cards and give all the Red ones to your lady. You throw them face down onto a table and give them a stir. Pick them up into a deck again and turn them face up. You have no idea what will come up but half are your black ones and half are your ladies Red ones. So she was trying to change his already structured life and he wasn't with it and it triggered him to start doubting. Wow talk about true honesty. I can honestly say I have never went there trying to change a guy. I give great advice and let them figure it out from there.
Who cares life is tough! He had an amazing woman and had the luxury of walking away from her and still we waste time on this stuff... I think it’s more like he has been asked this same question over and over and over again , that he has probably learned exactly what to say without trying to sound like he is bashing Lauren and accepting blame for it instead of blaming her and sounding miserable and petty
I think it just sounds like he's thought a lot about it and has come to realize his part in the breakup and wants to focus on that rather than publicly shame and blame Lauren for the things she may have done, which she can choose to speak about or not. I thought his response seemed introspective, respectful, and in good taste, not rehearsed.
