Regarding the pets: the house I live in belonged to an old nun. She was 92 when she passed away. I have her cat and unless this cat outlives me she'll finish out her days with me, in the same house she lived in when the nun first got her. ❤️

@Dan Cooper lol!! My sister died in '84 at 23 from a rare muscle disorder. I was tested back then and I do not have this disorder. What would my sister dying young have to do with my mortality anyway? Not everyone needs to be married to find happiness and while I think kids are great I never wanted any of my own. Why do you and others think everyone needs to be married and have children to have a happy life. Life is Fun, here comes summer. Got lots of travel plans too

Your tender reverence when handling the belongings of another is remarkable. I do the same when I go exploring abandoned homes. Thieving or vandalizing is NEVER an option! One small correction for you ... what you keep calling "bed pans" are actually called chamber pots. Bed pans are flattish and used for those who are bed-ridden. Chamber pots slid under the bed for use during the night. Every time you say "bed pan" I immediately think of an invalid, so I hope my comment helps you. :-)

INow that I am older, divorced, and my son is grown and married with his family, I love living alone. I discovered that I do not need a mate or someone to share my home with in order to feel complete as a person. When I was older, I also moved back into the house I grew up in, and all my stuff and my parents stuff, my grandparents stuff I had inherited -- what a comfort. There's definitely something off about the timeframe. There's Far too much decay going on for just 5 years. It looks to have been tossed by others and that would explain the tipped furniture but the rust on that file cabinet in a room with a solid roof just doesn't add up. That fire damage you spoke of is strange as well. It almost looks like fry grease rather than char. This one is just odd, completely.

The man shopped in Lidl, spotted a couple of products there. Also I agree he passed around Christmas time, there was Christmas cards on a picture or mirror.

Kinda looks like it's been abandoned much longer than 5 years. I guess the guy wasn't much of a housekeeper and yeah, something of a hoarder. Lovin all your new videos and of course, that new music is awesome! Be safe, youngster! NY Nana

At the end of your video as you were walking to see the old car, there was mud tracks going to maybe a pasture ? There is probably someone using his farm land...

The item in the outbuilding looked like a hopper for seed or fertiliser which attached to the back of a farm tractor

The piece of machinery in the barn was a seeder to broad cast seed or fertilizer mounted on the back of a tractor run by the power take off shaft shown on it in your video. Common place a vew years back here in the US on smaller farms. Still sold in the farm stores here now.

I think the object you were asking about was a kind of old planter for farming
