mmmm, i have been interested in adding a class 70 to my roster/fleet, i'll wait for your full review as that to me seems to always be spot on and very informative, 👍
Just looking at the vid I can already spot some issues with the 70. Front light bleed, and of course that dreadful soundfile which i'm hoping to improve with an upgraded speaker from Roads & Rails. Mine's also got a slightly feint clicking sound on one of the bogies, I haven't quite worked out why, but it seems to come from the gearbox casing which will be a right pain to work on.
@@EuviRail Yes would expect it, to be honest. Original tooling over 10 years old, chassis/loco light as a feather and the tooling showing its age with a $2 speaker thrown in for good measure but for you my dear customer that will be just shy of 300 notes after retail discount 🤣 For my Revolution Trains log train wagons I will getting the Cavalex Colas Class 56 instead when its released and it will be cheaper as well.
Normally I enjoy watching your running sessions but not this one, that sound file is appalling like someone scraping their nails down a black board 👎👎👎 (Nice paint scheme but that loco got hit really really hard by the ugly stick)
Thanks John. The sound file is really bad. If you check out my original Class 70 running session from a few years ago it had a Loksound 4 decoder and a Howes sound package that was way better. Will cover this in my review.
