Nice work on this large project. Btw where I live all new housing developments are built on slabs and they never ever use any screws into the concrete to hold those metal ring flanges down. They rely on the pipe and flange to hold the toilet down. Sometimes it works fine sometimes it doesn’t depending on how flat and level the floor is.

with a 4x3 90 if you dont wrap the pipe or fitting with foam . it gets locked in the concrete . on finish just glue a 3 inch ring right inside the pipe itll be rock solid with out any screws kinda cheating though its supposed to attached to floor

Looks good -- maybe you can check your parts 1 -2 and see where the clean outs are...

Why do you need a cleanout on a basin when you can go through the drain .Also, it would look Hideous

@pershingplumbing9007 2 месяца назад
@glenallen4148 it's code to have a clean out before going into slab, the clean outs are hidden and the more access points the better

@pershingplumbing9007 where do you live? I live in California, and it's not code here

@glenallen4148 read your upc code book. Gotta have a clean out somewhere before going into slab

Did you “pull a permit” from the local municipality for this re-plumb? Rough in inspection & completion inspection? I doubt so. Never - EVER pass inspection - be approved where I live. The fixtures you always install are always Menard’s, Lowe’s, Home Depot CRAP !

100% inspected and passed inspection. You point out one thing i did that was not up to code and I'll mail you $10000 bucks. The faucets, toilets and vanities are all chosen by owner

LMFAO you are clueless , his work is solid. Not every homeowner wants to pay for a high end fixture.

Not all customers want to pay high prices for low end junk just about all faucets these days are crap . They may look good but built like crap

@@pershingplumbing9007 Didn’t appear that you secured that new toilet flange w/stainless steel screws. Don’t tell that’s not necessary because the wax ring will seal against the regular steel screws rusting out. Seen it happen many a time. I didn’t see you securing/screwing that new vanity base to wall studs behind the drywall before you caulked/glued the bowl to the vanity top. Your codes in CA. must be pretty lax is all I can say. I’m glad I’m retired. Miserable jobs no more.

@davidbrinkmeyer5850 It's slab so I used tap cons and vanities screwed to wall and caulked but that's not even on the code book. California is upc
