Since the initial introduction (and our first videos) of the Bach A47XPS Peter Steiner Artisan large bore tenor trombone we have received many requests to do a full review of this horn. It took a few years to get our next example in but, when it did, we made sure to grab a video with it right away (and we are glad we did!)
With it's lightweight cut-flare gold brass bell and European-inspired X-wrap, combined with the existing Artisan bell taper and tuning slide-handslide setup, the A47XPS solidly exemplifies many of the attributes that we are seeing in the evolution of the modern classical tenor and the first notes we played on it reminded us why we liked it so much the first time around!
