Coach, if I'm attacking turtle and want to take uke into back-control, should my top-hand for the seatbelt go into the near shoulder or far shoulder?

interesting you say you prefer seatbelt rather than double under - in my experience a good wrestler will easilly escape seatbelt. Also I don't think there's a lot of seatbelt in high level wrestling, is there?

The seatbelt isn't used much in wrestling because of the escape potential.... you're right. The main reason why it's good for jiu-jitsu/grappling is because of the choke factor that doesn't exist in wrestling. That's why the seatbelt is often preferable. The double under is better for control.
