I’ve broken this video down into 2 parts while we wait for a few jobs to be finished on the house such as rendering, fence and doors, then we can plant up & complete a few finishing touches and then post video of the whole garden, but for now, heres Part 1 ! Thanks for watching 👍
Great video. Just come across you lot. I'll need my front and back garden doing in about 2yrs. Both small. Love the porcelain tiles. Would like a low maintenance garden. Probs is I live in Redcar near Middlesbrough 😂
Loved watching this video you boys are brilliant mate. You can see when doing the small details you care and take pride in your work👌 we are hoping to have our back garden done for summer wish I had you boys doing it. Great video and job 👍
This was a great video, I love your attention to detail with the little cut on the edging to match the others!!, gonna jump straight into the 2nd part now!
You boys deserve way more subs - sure they'll come with time. Incredible work, attention to detail and skills with that stihl. I'd hire you in 2 seconds flat if I was in your neck of the woods.
Hello Duncan, really appreciate your kind comments and thank you for watching. We’re pretty new on here, started at Christmas, enjoying the process so far! Thanks again, Matty ⚒
This is pure ASMR, I like it. Loves the fact that you pay attention to the small details. That is actually how we (the viewers) learn something new. Keep it up! 👍
Came across your video randomly. Really top class work. Attention to detail. Clean working. Top notch cuts with the stihl there. Mitred edge looks amazing. A few have said it, if you were round my ends I’d hire you without hesitation! Funny guys. Keep up the good work and may you be more and more successful.
Hello Abar, Thank you for the comment and for watching, really appreciate what you’ve said. I’ve spent all my working life in this trade trying to better myself, just putting it out there now to try and inspire others into the trade. Glad you enjoyed the video. All the best mate, Matty ⚒🙏
I can only assume 10 people clicked thumbs down by accident! Outstanding work and thank you for taking the time to break everything down. Learning so much. Did you put the drip bead on the underside of the copings yourself?
Ha ha I’ve always used those binding pallet straps for laying in awkward finger nipping pavers !! Great minds and all that ! Well I just got the old Grabo on Thursday so no more of that now really ha !
Great way to start the day Matt watching another one of your lovely patio projects I’ll be starting a new one myself tomorrow about 100 m of urban clay with the mat vintage as boarders. Wish me luck 👍🏴
Cheer my mate. Thanks for watching and your support as always 💙 Nice mate. I’m currently on a 140m2 urban clay one myself. Just beware they’re not 💯 flat, some concave some convex, look fine once in and grouted though. Really impressive flag
@@Brockstonepavingpros thanks for the heads up on the flags I’ll keep a eye out when they turn up Friday. I’m gonna do a bloopers video on the next one keep em laughing 👍
@@Brockstonepavingpros great work literally flawless and top quality 👌 just wanted to ask few questions bud, you laid with tile adhesive on top of one of the walls is that right? if so what did you use, and how come as on the other wall it looks like you just used mortar mix, many thanks
Your channel new just popped up in my optional videos........Bloody hell, lads, that is next level stuff you are turning out! 👏👏.......subbed straight away!
I'd love nothing more to slag you scousers off, but I cant 😂 great tradesman right there. This is what you pay for, quality knowledge of working on the ground. So important not to cut corners. Great projects, great videos. Something for these frauds to take in to consideration and learn from. I can very much much say if your in the liverpool area this is a top firm. Would not hesitate one bit in paying this man to create a quality finished product on your gardens and driveways 10/10 Keep up the good work mate Sam, Manchester 👊🏽
Haha that’s a fair comment Sam. I know where your coming from. The Mancs & scouse have so much in common, from music , football to fashion, that’s why there’s so much rivalry, but we’re cut from the same cloth. I’ve got some good mates that are Manchester lads, they’re good people 👊 Thank you for the comment mate, I really appreciate that from someone that’s obviously in the civils game….I’ll take that. All the best mate, Matty 🤜🤛
Going to be a mint finish Looking forward to part 2 the water blades are tricky you make a great case not to buy a bench saw with con saw cut like you do 😄 rubi and zoe be like 🤪😃keep going...Make gardens great again 😁
Cheers boss. Yeah love a water blade 👌 Haha I’m not a fan of table saws, had a Zoe & sold it in a month. Too slow and bloody massive 🤣 All the best, thanks for watching 👍
Kev reminds me of someone!!!! 🤔 like a celebrity or comedian from back innthw day, help me out!?! I bet he gets it all the time but hes a spit of someone but i just cant remeber his name. If you said it id know straight away! Come on every1 in the comments, who am i thinking about!?!?! 🤔 ❤😂
Wow just wow! Do you design the gardens as well as install? Attention to detail is crazy, and there is no compromise on quality Top Job you will never be out of work
Thank you mate. Appreciate you watching. They’re laid level here, 9 times out of 10 they are too. The water builds up and makes its way to the outlet. 👍👍 hope that helps
You boys are good in 30 years myself and abit of stickler for doing things right . You boys are up there last of a dying breed . By the way love the laces in your boots is it building line 😆
Fantastic work mate your attention to detail is second to none I like your videos I think you have good material to get a lot of well deserved subscriptions on RU-vid
New subscriber. Not sure the cats name with the gas powered masonry saw skills, but for those of you who don't know.... that is some Yoda level shit right there. FREE HAND CUT LONG EDGE 45's 😲 and they were perfect when he put them together. Nice work!! I am a fan!!
What adhesive do you use for the wall flags? also what mix do you use for the patio flags? Thanks and love the videos, helping me plan my own garden transformation
@@Brockstonepavingpros Appreciate the reply and details, I really do, it helps a lot. What's the maximum height wall you can build with the concrete blocks before you have to use denser or different type? I'm planning on a 1m tall retaining wall with porcelain finish.
Outstanding Matty once again you n your boys are different class ,the first wee breaker u used on the old fence post was it the one from screwfix ,I've got one its a heavy wee bugger tho does the job tho . Sunday all good so far watch your vids them line of duty the nite, have a good one the day mate awra best👍🏴
Ah thank you mate, I’m humbled by comments like that. 🙏 Yes it is mate, amazing breaker for the money. Don’t think they do them no more? Thanks mate, enjoy your day too and the 📺 👍👍👍👍👊☀️
Hi Matty mate I've got my first porcelain job to do in 2 weeks its the 3×2 size porcelain, its a straight path which will eat up 15 off them n a smallish patio about 24 mtrs , do you recommend a suction cup to lift them or do is it easier to lift n lay normally using all your laying techniques, thanks mate
Hi Matty and team. New to your channel up here in bonnie Scotland.Your attention to detail is second to none. Keep it up lad. Brilliant. Worth every penny.
New subscriber here. I’ve watched most of your videos and your work is amazing👌 Do you have any videos or links to linear drainage? Similar or same as the installation in this video.
Hello Darren, hope you’re good lad. I use Pulvex blades mate. Best on the market 💯 If you want to order let me know I’ll get you % off your first order 🤟
Hello, I have a 30m2 beam and block patio area, built as part of my extension. I’m thinking of ideas and ways in which to finish this area and how to approach it with the block and beam. The B&B naturally has a little flex in it therefore I want to proceed with the correct method to ensure tiles and joints don’t crack. I’m looking at a porcelain tile finish. Will this require a fibre screed like I had internally then to lay the porcelain with a cement mix? Advice would be useful from anyone who has experience of this. Thanks
Hello mate, you could go for a pedestal system where the paving isn’t bonded but sits in plastic stilts if you like. If you were to wet lay then look up Schluter Ditra Matting, it’s used by tilers to stop cracking & to let moisture out, I’m no expert on that system so call technical department before doing it. 👍
Great job, I do a lot ranch railing and I never set timber post in concrete. We use plastic poly pipe 6” or 8 “ diameter. Length depend on grounds condition. Rough guide is over 2 feet. We fill the ouside with poly pipes with concrete, coat the post with creosote over night and fill the inside of the poly pipes with gravel inside for drainage of the post.
Hello matty, no Pulvex blades in, I’ve been recommended diamond direct? And any tips with the stihl saw for cutting? There’s a lot saying it just chips way too much. Cheers mate 👍🏼 sorry to keep asking stuff jusy finished the video. What is it you use to factory finish? 4” grinding pad? Been looking on eBay nothings coming up 😅
Thank you chief. We use Pulvex blades. I’ve been using them for about 10 years. If you speak to Phil, he will give you a discount on your first order if you mention me Matt Brockhurst 👍 or quote “Brock 1” +44 7827 470312 www.pulvex.co.uk

@@ozzyefc44 sorry mate I mean the best I can be, I’m not in competition with anyone like ha, (that sounds so cheesy 🤣🙈) Honestly mate, comments like that make me so happy, humbled 🙏

Great work mate, gave me the confidence to crack on with mine . It's taking it's time but I'm getting there. Cheers keep up the excellent work...
@@paulsimpson2232 ah right ok, maybe a bit misleading then. Apologies for that. We always slurry the backs on every paving, even Indian stone, better job 👍 Thanks for the feedback too, great to hear 👍
What do you Think of them bricks slot drains thinking of using them on my next job how do you clean them out though obviously the other ones you just left the top off if anything was to build up in them

Thanks 👍👍 Mainly because I don’t need one 🤣 I can do everything a table saw can do and a hell of a lot more with my whizzer, and a lot faster. I had a Zoe table saw and sold it within a month, don’t rate em
Hello mate, are you talking about the edging to the lawn? Standard practice uk but I know US (not sure where you’re from) love a interlocking section on their concrete
@@Brockstonepavingpros yeah both the normal ones 2 they just bounce every where when your trying to lay them and the clip system is shit 2 😂 nothing wrong with your work buddy just hate the plastic aco drains in general 😂
Got to be the best paver on RU-vid. inspirational stuff. Picked up some great ideas for my new patio. What are those pavers you used. Really liked the colour.
