Discharge is a further opportunity to meet with the birth care professionals, in which all the necessary information for returning home will be given.
Two "discharge letters" will be delivered: one relating to the clinical course of the mother and one to that of the newborn. They will contain the data relating to the hospitalization and the indications for subsequent clinical checks in the puerperium and neonatal clinics.
Our hospital also has a family counseling center where it will be possible to meet with other mothers with their children, share the hardships, emotions and joys after birth, and have a discussion with expert staff.
