having completed my Masters degree from London School Of Economics UK. i was looking for the best schools in Pakistan for my son, when I saw this video, i dont know what to say. Pakistan has its own culture why are you ashamed of it. Why is everyone such a slave. To prove yourself as modern you dont need to act like the street junkies of the UK. Just look at the prime minister Imran Khan, he was Aitchisonian too, but how proud he is about his culture, having seen all he realizes that theres nothing out there. Please propagate our culture, our way of living, our way of dressing, our own identity. there is a vlogger who sits beside his buffaloes in his village and cooks desi food. He has 1 million subscribers and millions of hours viewership.still growing. BE GENUINE PLEASE.
Who said we’re ashamed of our own culture? First of all this was an inter-school Business event hosted by Aitchison College and almost every school gets invited to become a part of it. Just to be a little more sure, I watched my own video again and I don’t think it justifies any of your objections. The racing scene you saw was for an ad as we were given the product ‘Honda’ . The scavenger hunt was just a game for the participants to cheer up as business events are not as interesting as other events such as music or art competitions. Pakistan is not the country it used to be a decade ago but we still have people who can’t change their mindset or bus aik label laga dia hai ke Pakistan mein bus shalwar kameez pehno or eid manao baki sab events haram
Talking about Imran Khan, he lived a luxurious life and now that he stood up for the country, he had to give up that life and we’re proud of it. The prime minister himself doesn’t say ke bus eastern dressing hogi or baki koi events bhi nai hongay. The vlogger you’re referring might live in his village, ‘ I don’t ‘ and if I pretend to sit beside cows and cook ‘desi food’ then honestly it would be all fake and I never fake stuff. I am who I am and I am a proud Pakistani. This vlog is not specifically about the culture of pakistan but just another school event. Actually I lived in the UK, no matter how hard we try they never accept us, I lived in UAE too, the locals stick to their own identity and culture yet they are well respected. they are very proud of it. I really wish we could make our own identity, unique to Pakistan. I would love to be a part of that Pakistan.
