Hari OM I was in Aberfoyle just a couple of weeks back... the proper wool is in the wee hut outside the main door. Am working some of the Jacob's yarn at the moment! I camped in the forest area (look up the Three Lochs Forest Drive). It's a wonderful part of this Bonny Land... but then there is wonder around every corner here, isn't it so?!! YAM xx

Ah, "ye're hame again". Now you are off to my favourite part of the world, the western isles. My two lassies have just returned from a visit to Iceland, Mull, Iona and the Lake District. They may have been Australian born, but the lure of Scotland keeps calling them back. Loved the episode and look forward to news from Oban. Just out of interest, Oban malt is a tasty wee dram. If you were happy with the 3.9 Kg gas bottle the 20 litre tank you now have will hold approx 5 Kg of gas, so it should last a bit longer. But one of the advantages is if you go over to Europe you can fill up with LPG wherever you go if you have the correct adapters. The other is is so much cheaper than exchanging gas bottles. We have two 11 Kg Gasit bottles fitted in our MoHo, when I filled it for the first time 22 Kg of gas (44 litres) was cheaper than exchanging one 15 Kg Calor gas bottle. So if you’ve had a 20 litre tank fitted it should last almost 1.5 times what you got with your 3.9 Kg bottle (1 Kg of LPG is about 2 litres) My LPG is a very good app for finding your nearest LPG refill point.

Hi you lovely couple I noticed on an old video you wanted a recommended map set up for your van. I use Sygic for my car and hopefully use it for my new van (Swift Carrera 122) I take delivery next week. I ama 74 year old newbie. The subscription is very reasonable and has a section for HGV and caravans. It has a trial period too. Have a look........ Best wishes John👍

Wow how you have managed to fill all that additional space your gained from Maggie. You really have a home from home now and so organised in your new van. Totally agree with all the changes. Especially the new gas tank. Keep the videos coming and make the most of the van now that you upgraded to it. Love watching your videos.

Hi Mike and Trish, hope all is going well with the van. Just for awareness, we have had a problem with a water leak from the fridge condensate pipe as it has not been installed correctly. It should be routed to the underside of the van, but Swift had just left it resting on the floor under the wardrobe base. Some significant changes in temperature and we awoke to water soaking the floor and cabinets as the condensate leaked everywhere instead of under the van. Dometic say it should be vented underneath. It's a real shame as we love the van but it has soured our experience and we now have to get warranty work done. Please check where yours is routed. You'll need to undo six screws in the wardrobe base and you should see the condensate pipe hopefully exiting underneath and not resting on the floor.

Lovely video of your first adventure back home and after doing all the modifications on the van!!! I guess every time you go out for a long hike you have to be prepared for rain, hail and perhaps some sun.....!!!!

I've got a similar gas tank and only top up once a year!

Hello You Three - greetings from Poland What a lovely video. Your travels through France were very enjoyable to watch but in my opinion, home trips are better. Mods and rockers - what were you listening to? The "mods" to the van look very practicle especially the underslung gas tank. Today video was superb. Beautiful countryside. We foreigners only see the River Forth ar the sea end near Edinburgh. The upper stream is gorgeous. More please!

Well done on your videos. I follow you guys all the time. You may not know, but if you want to dress up your plywood edge, you can buy some iron on edge banding any colour to blend in. Pretty sure Amazon will have some. Cheers and safe travels

Hi Tricia and Mike, very useful shelf additions, never throw out things that might be useful in the future. and a lot more space with the underfloor gas tank. It's great you can make these decisions together,😂😂😂. Aberfoyle is great for walks, I had my caravan on the Trossachs site for a season, the views were great. Oban is great as well, I used to take the caravan there as well. A word of warning, don't call the big roon thing up on the hill MC caigs folly. I nearly got into an online argument with a local when I said that. My goad Tricia can fairly boogie.

Looks a promising start 😊 It will be good to get your view later down the line about how easy you find it to get LPG refills. I am looking at campervans currently and one dealer tried to talk me out of that idea due to the reduction in places selling it. Mind you they were selling a van that didn't have one as an option 😉

I have to say when there was a wee pause after you said you were heading to Oban I let out a squeal of delight when you said you were visiting my beloved Mull. I'm sure you are probably back by now but there are so many wonderful places I would have directed you towards. The roads will be a challenge but I live by the rule, always pull info the passing places to let local or delivery vans pass. We have to respect Island life. Loch Buie is a fantastic if not challenging drive but the views are worth it and the Old Post office cafe is an absolute treat. The beach at Uisken is one of my favourite and the campsite at Fidden is stunning. There are some fab eating places with lots of fresh local fish available. Langoustines a plenty. I'm so envious and can't wait to see all you discover on Mull. Mull cheddar is one of my favourites so Mike you mustn't miss that. You need at the very least a week to go round the Island. I'm loving Tricia's modifications and wd like the link to the plastic shelf supports please. Perhaps you could both go in for a little van design consultancy as why on earth wouldn't the designers of your van sell it without the under slung gas tank. Genius! I'm watching this video with a bit of a squint as I've just had my 2nd cataract op. Hoping full sight restored for your Mull video. For the first time in 17 yrs I think I'm going to miss a visit 😢. If you come back to Oban, Cuan Mor is a great, dog friendly place to have a lunch or a dinner. Tralee Beach also, for a beautiful beach walk.
