ONE News caught up to young model Rachel Hunter in 1986, when she first decided to pursue a modeling career outside New Zealand. The soon-to-be-supermodel's $100,000 Paris contract wasn't about the money, she said while trying on fur coats and being leered at by construction workers. That’s why she said that getting married and becoming a mom by 25 erased her identity and had no life other than the kids and Rod. She should’ve stayed single for a while.

Rachel Hunter, quando ha sposato Rod Stewart, aveva già soldi e fama, è uno dei motivi per i quali il rocker inglese, lo dice anche nella sua autobiografia, ha provato immediato trasporto per questa ragazza meravigliosa, che univa alla stratosferica bellezza, la sincerità e l'ingenuità tipica della sua giovane età!!! In realtà anche Rod, con i suoi quarantacinque anni, era nel pieno del suo splendore fisico, fascino e sicurezza tipici di una posizione sociale al top!! Non c'è stato nessun calcolo, si sono innamorati e basta!!! Purtroppo non è durata per sempre, come sperava lui, nonostante la nascita dei due splendidi bambini! Ma Rachel, lasciandolo perché non aveva più una sua identità, ha dimostrato molto coraggio!!! Una gran donna, non c è che dire!!

Jennifer Feliu, Rachel Hunter è stata una delle modelle più belle e fotografate al mondo tra la metà degli anni 80 e gli anni 90!Non ha sfilato in passerella, perché la sua era una fisicità più adatta alle foto di copertina (compresi i bellissimi capelli, con i quali ha pubblicizzato tanti prodotti specifici proprio a questo scopo)!! Ha abbellito tutte le più prestigiose riviste di moda e ha lavorato con i più importanti fotografi del settore!! Avendo un corpo perfetto ed esplosivo, in contrasto con il viso dolce di bambina con degli stupefacenti occhi blu, è stata la modella top drlla rivista Sport Illustraded, posando in costume da bagno di grandi marchi e in servizi di fitness molto famosi anche sulla tv americana (e fu vedendola in uno di questi servizi che il rocker Rod Stewart si innamorò di lei e dopo poco averla conosciuta, la sposo ')

In seguito ha fatto un servizio fotografico pittorico per Playboy tra i meglio riusciti della rivista! Dire che non è stata una modella, per i suoi capelli ricci o altro, mi sembra fuori luogo! Certo, se la confrontiamo con le modelle anoressiche dei nostri giorni, il paragone non regge! Era(e lo è ancora) bellissima!! Io l'ho vista di persona nei primi anni 90'ad un evento di moda a Milano e posso assicurare che possedeva veramente il fattore Woow, che non tutte le donne, pur belle, hanno!!
