I know it is nice to see your cards though when you are at the tv tables. Best was when you and ivey were in his glasses next to each other I think you are the only one that can actually get him to laugh and talk at the table. Keep building your stack.... want to see you at a tv table again but it being the final... LFG
DNEGS has adapted through multiple generations of poker and the ever-evolving landscape. The fact that he continues to remain one of the top players is incredible. Rooting for you always Daniel!
Never watched your channel before, only highlights of hands throughout the last decades, but in the last two months your vlogs have become part of my daily routine. Will miss the series if it ends
Had to sit next to “CUZ” for a 12 hour tournament at the Venetian. He didn’t shut his mouth for 12 hours. Miserable. And he gave himself his own nickname so that’s cool.
just wanted to say Daniel, and i know, a little late but still, that it was such a joy watching you win the 50K PPC! So fun to whatch your vlog leading up to that final table, and then the final table, which is the only stream on pokergo that I follow live each year (being a winning Swedish low stakes mixed games player and mixed game fan, thats without question the coolest tournament on the planet). I really wish there were more mixed games available over here in sweden, but some day Ill make it to the wsop for some 1,5Ks mixed tournaments. Thats the dream. Anyhow, I could only imagine what winning the PPC must have felt like for you. Take that winning feeling with you now Daniel and go n crush the two card game main event! Make a run for the ages man! i can see it before me, you winning the damn thing and then when you get interviewed after winning it - youre talking about how grateful you are for winning the second greatest tournament in the world. hehe.
Not sure if that is public information, but you should likely blur out that woman's information at 8:09. Not sure if she would love her email address, etc. spread out.
I love the content, I actually met you at the 2012 WSOP, I was a little starstruck at the time and you were very busy but you still took the time out to take a picture with me. I think it was near the 10k Final Table where Greg Merson won his first bracelet. Anyway, since then, I went into filmmaking and in 2016, I took down the worlds biggest short film competition. I am now developing a Comedy Poker Movie set around the WSOP which I will be pitching at the American Film Market in Vegas this November, wish me luck :)
Hey buddy, im so proud of you! Its nice to see you hanging in there, enjoying yourself doing so. This event would t be the same without you! Realy keeps my spirits up. Hopes and dreams is all it takes for me. Would love to see tomorrow at the table or somewhere around them. Starting tomorrow at black 54, seat 6 and would love to give you personal cheerup in full GGgear. Love ya!
@@freedomspyder Toy darts. The bull and outer bull are both 50 so with such a huge target every game just goes bull bull bull bull, its 901 to score. Then they play cricket which is where a bit of skill comes in, but in 901, two evenly matched players will just depend on who wins the toss who wins the game. Someone will occasionaly try hit a treble 20 and ultimately miss and give their opponent an easy win, unless they hit a few then they overtake, but its pretty much a crap game.... and the board does all the counting and stupid sound effects on each hit, its not "proper darts" .... lol
It would be amazing if she ran deep, great for poker, and a delight to watch. Easy on eyes too. All the Japanese female darts players are! Better genes!
Daniel…..you are a GREAT player. We don’t want you to forget that! Be a nit a little more and you can own this sucka. Been following you since 2006. I’m old enough to be your Mama, my son just turned 47. Please win this! Kisses to Amanda and puppies too.
The Johnny Chan play against Leonard was very well executed. I especially like the sizing of your bet on the turn. Small ball baby! Let's chip up slowly but surely.
Imagine if all day drinkers looked like Mayuko Marito - Skid Row would be a really cool & cute place to visit! I love how she so innocently just answers "Yeah, i love IPAs!" 😄❤️😄
Everyone loves you Daniel, I love your perspective on poker and life in general, like I said when you signed my hat you dressing as Scotty Nguyen was so funny, that expresso looked good bro...we missed your 50k bracelet win too cuz my buddy was sick we so wanted to be there tho cheerin ya on...ivey shades 😎
Shoutout to Daniel's editor, they do a fantastic job, and on such a short turnaround, it's crazy the quality of the graphics and the editing on these videos!
Was watching the livestream and thought for sure you’d do a hand breakdown of the trips you had that lost to a straight. That would have been a good one to hear the thought process on and what you thought she was repping.
Ready to watch! I unfortunately punted last night after being up in my matches.. nowhere near the stakes of this event of course. Now I need to refresh and redepo... so I can get back to a grind
@daniel You should listen to "Bring it on" by "Rebellion". Maybe its not completely your taste in music, but it will defintely hype you up and it describes some words that you've been saying the past couple of vlogs! Cheers!
Leonard definitely give you respect in spots. There's spots he would have got involved in if it wasn't you he was playing against. Hirish also made bad plays but got lukcy a fair few times. Him calling your 3bet oop and floating the flop with 4s was wild.
Limpin is pimpin…being sneaky on button with AK…min raising on flop…if Daniel wins Main he is gonna redefine poker strategy again with Small Ball 2.0!!!!-
I was playing with buckner at the playground in may haha that guy is funny. Although he talks a lot but hes got quite the stories hahahaha. Sadly he had kings and i guy flopped a set and took him out. He literally played every hand hahaha good guy
Yea, kid poker with the glasses back on positive vibes, man. i hope you make more videos after wsop, plus i am wondering who wins beat Saber after wsop😂
Got some big names on your tables. Pads one of the best players in the field. Such an incredible mental athlete. LaliTournier one of the best female players out there, crushing online afaik.
In position against an aggressive player I think call is higher EV vs the shove that you chose to go with. If he has any ace youre gonna double up either way. If you are beat (which seemed nearly impossible in that spot) then you might save 20K. However, the call keeps in all his complete air (which is what he had) and keeps in all his semi bluffs such as straights and back door flush draws that an aggressive player will bluff river if missed. I'm trying to figure out what hands could he have in which your shove is better than a call. I guess if he did have the back door flush draw a shove likely has to call. Long strory short I see lots of hands that he holds in which call is better and few if any hands in which shove works better. Again, my opinion is predicated on the fact that you had position on an aggressive thinking player who isn't afraid to go for it.
I find it amazing how many people are playing way over aggressive for how deep they still are for being day 3. I think your assessment of just sit back and let the game come to you is the right one. Everyone wants to be the guy who made the sick play with JJ getting KK to fold, and while you are going to be able to do that when you're playing 20 to 40 BB, if you're one of those players who thinks that just all out aggression is going to win the tournament, your 100% incorrect. You can't win the tournament in one hand, but you can bust out in one hand. I'm more impressed by people taking their time and sniffing out the really bad over aggressive plays. Kristen Foxen made some really good read and calls. There is a concept of folding a marginal hand now even if you might have been ahead will win you more chips later when you have the other person dominated and drawing dead.
The brain is trying to find a way to fuel and carbs are the quickest source of energy. Bring nuts, or use some MCT oil. Smart play on not drinking much earlier in the night.
Hey Daniel, fellow vegan here. First time in Vegas this coming November. Won a seat to the main event off pokerstars! Can you recommend vegan places to eat??
