Yes but I think the point is thhat maiden always tailor everything to the quality of the final quality of the song. Never any overiindulgence, or detracting virtuosity from any particular member of the band. Unlike many other bands could mention

I think it's a brilliant combination of simplicity, pace/tempo, and just enough intricacy to capture and maintain your attention fort the entire 5 minutes 🤘🤘

I couldn't ever objectively say which is "best" but Powerslave is certainly a hugely important album in their career. Arguably one of the most significant!

I always decide which one is my favourite and then change my mind again about 2 days later, they are just all so good haha

But I think people can appreciate your reasoning, because if you have something in the public domain then I think it’s only natural to want to make sure it’s your best effort. I guess that just shows you take pride in what you do, but also that you’re committed to improvement and aren’t afraid to reflect critically on your own work.

Oh man... I usually find something to critique before I even upload the final video so the temptation to do things over is always there 😄 I just had to learn to live with small imperfections and the occasional mistake or I would never publish anything!

Considering the first line is "Turn the spotlights on the people", it would be a killer live song. Oh well... 🤷🏻😄

With fast paced, busy songs like this, it's mainly a lot of repetition until you have the parts well into your muscle memory so that you not thinking about it when you're playing it full-tilt. Also because you want to make sure you're staying in the groove 🙂 Usually Jan will play the same parts as Adrian when they play 80s songs and sometimes Adrian will update his parts like playing a melody an octave lower or a slightly different variation of the part. When playing 90s material, Adrian typically plays something that is similar to what Janick does but complementary... Again maybe playing a melody or a riff an octave lower or a simplified version of it.
