It is easier, faster, and safer to drive straight out of a parking space than it is to back out.
If you need to leave in a hurry, for whatever reason, having to take the time to back out safely especially when everyone else is as well could mean the difference between getting out safely and ending up in an accident, or worse.
If you can, take the time to back into a parking space when you arrive.
