If anything, The NRL welfare team needs to watch this podcast and use it as a learning tool to understand these young players coming through. We tend to forget that most of these young players are still kids playing against men. One-on-one counseling or some sort of help for these young men. Food for thought.

Awesome podcast with the relaxed polynesian vibe and humour. Haters have no idea how the interviewer creates a mood where Cobbo can relax and give genuine responses. I’d rather this than the boring cliched and media-trained replies. He's a young guy under the pressure of high profile spotlight where every word is scrutinised so people should relax.

I think that’s the point. If you want structured questions go watch something different? We would never get to hear his true feelings if he knew he was getting interviewed by some mainstream Palagi? Everyone can see Kevie is passionate and he can bring what he needs to out of players by getting them passionate. Yes, there’s other more technical coaches but where the Broncos are at they need someone like Kevie to help them rebuild the Broncos brand.

Kevin Walters is pretty average as a coach. Said by a few players and as an observer I can tell he struggles to pull players up when the teams down, has no idea how to fix things when they’re broken
