As you say Mal,not a bad hunt, and the weather was good, haven't been out for ages myself(shoulder),but one day soon I'm going to go out and see what happens,I hope it is onwards and upwards for you now😃
Hi Paul, Thanks for watching and your comment. Yep good to be back out and in the fresh air and nature. It's been a bad 12 months so hopefully now over most of it and get out more regularly now. Romans fields still long way to go as bean and barley still green in patches. HH. Mal
Hi Mal, I have found a few of these metal horse nose bands over the years. Normally one half but the odd complete one. Makers info runs over both parts. Hinge is to allow it to flex. Should have a knob on each end to allow straps or chains to attach. Searching the internet will bring results about the maker who produced them. Hope that helps👍
As said the maker is no longer in business as sold out years ago to another company. I contacted them but they have no records. Do you have any links to details on the nose bands?
@@malcolmpotter I was out on a stubble field yesterday first of the season, it was out at Errol next to the old 2nd world war aerodrome, ground was a bit hard though.
Hi Simon, thanks for watching and your comment. Interesting and could you point me in the direction of the info. The company Websters were local agricultural equipment manufacturers. HH. Mal
Hi, thanks for watching and your comment. As for the ring there are many detectorists that search that beach now every day and its ages since I have been down due to ill health :( But if I do I will let you know. HH. Mal
