@@OregonFishingAdventures yessur. I just got a keeper hen today and then lost a huge buck. I tried to net it on my own and lost it while trying to net it. It would have been a PB for sure. Next time. I'll post it this weekend. See you sir.
I've fished there a ton of times and never got one from there till this video I always look at the run there and how it lays out and know it's got potential but this day proved it was worth all the time I've tried to fish that hole finally paid off
Hopefully my schedule will open back up and I can start fishing again soon. We are moving next month after remodeling the last 6 months. Feel free to shoot me an email, you never know
The video quality is amazing! Im in the market for a new camera. What a beautiful day on the river, the water looked amazing and the fish were incredible! Nice work on limits, its not everyday we get to say we limited out!
🤣 I used to tell my parents I was going to “THERAPY” and amazingly they would give $40-60 to take care of my gas and whatever else. It wasn’t until my daughter was 4 years 😊old and asked grandpa why he doesn’t go to therapy with daddy while grandpa was watching a THERAPY TV SHOW🤦🏻 MAN RATTTED OUT BY MY OWN DAUGHTER🤣 and that was 27 years ago!
I did watch it , but I wanted to see what you did to" customize" it. I'm watching your video on a smart phone screen so can't really enlarge the video to see the spinner. Thanks.
@@odenphillips6980 it's just a custom color I had him do for me and I played around with a few different blade stickers and settled on my favorite so it's nothing different then a normal R&B is just my custom coloration that's all
I'm kinda using a different braid on every rod right now my spinner rod has 30# powerpro maxcautro, on my 9'6 I have 40# powerpro super slick v2 and my 10'6 has 40# suffix 832
Nice fish! It’s an interesting choice to brag about not catching your fish from a high-pressure area and then posting said area online for everyone to go to.
Nah this is usually a pressured area I'm pretty sure everyone and there dog knows this spot just Happened to not have anyone there that day there was other cars parked there but they had walked up river from there everyone just seems to enjoy fishing on top of each other at the hatchery which I don't but yeah definitely no secret where I was usually always someone there just wasn't alot of people out there that day
My point was you don't have to fish the high pressured hatchery water to catch fish it seems like some people won't even fish any other parts of the river
It’s Oregon and right now you have nestucca, trash, siletz, sandy, the clackamas, Wilson , umpqua, deschuttes and then the more notorious smith river and mad river in the border. So it’s not like a crap ton of Appalachian mountain cousins are gonna flock to that one spot. That’s what’s FUGGIN GREAT ABOUT OREGON! Unlike cal. Soon the American river is gonna be the states hottest river and all of southern cal will be hoggin the banks🤦🏻
I’ll say this I lived in SALEM UNTIL I WAS 16, and when I fished the rivers I always would work from the top and go down stream until I learned the pools and cliff edges where they would lay.
@@garystevens1044 in personally like to start tail out to top of run from the same adage that trout orient there selves upstream just as most salmon and Steelhead so if u start at the head of the run and the fish are sitting in the middle it's a good chance they could see u and get spooked if your in front of the fish. Where as if you approach from behind and work forward there is less chance to spook them because they aren't looking behind themselves
