Your video popped up on my RU-vid feed so this the first one I've seen. I'm not sure I could travel and camp in such a minimalist fashion, but hats off to you for doing so. I enjoyed your video and shall have a wee look at your others shortly.

@@backpackingireland8624 Cheers Tony, I dont get into reviewing kit, but I can say the bivi bag is tough, waterproof and packs down nice and small. I get on really well with it. Thanks for watching 👍🏕️

You do get some condensation in it, but I suppose that’s what comes with it being completely waterproof 💦

@@danvk3ndg104 Hello, no, I side sleep. Theres plenty of room inside the bag to roll about. I put my inflatable mat inside the bivi bag so everything is contained, seems to work for me. Cheers 👍🏕️

Yes, certainly did the job for curry and bangers mate. Yeah really like the outlook at this spot, keen to do it again in summer although it will be a lot harder with walkers about. Cheers mate 👍🍳🥘

Cheers mate, I’d have liked to have camped up on the top for the view but the wind was too strong and cold. Sunk down into that bowl was really nice though. Cheers mate 👍🏕️

Hey mate, yeah really enjoyed it. It was minimal but not the point of missing out on anything. I go camping because I love it, not for views or shock value. I can go lighter, ie use my mat as a chair rather my stool. Come summer, lightweight sleeping bag, lightweight inflatable mat, no additional clothing the carry load will really slim down. @@JamiedoesWildBikepacking I take way too much with me. I need to create a minimal pack that's ready to go 24/7. Might have a sort out of all the stuff I never use as well. Love watching the channel Jamie. You put in a lot of effort to get out regularly, and people appreciate that👍

Another great video Jamie👍 The location looks similar the Ashdown Forest near me where I have camped numerous times. Would you consider doing a short video on the bikepacking bags & attachment frames etc you use on your bike please (not the kit that you pack in them as you’ve already done that 🤣)? Not reviews (leave that to the sub hungry channels 😂) just a show & tell with specs etc.👍 Atb Andy

Nalgene bottle full of hot water in sleeping bag has helped me in -8C temps.

I’ve done -6 before, I used a mini hot water bottle at the foot end of my bag. Lovely getting into a warm sleeping bag at the end of the night 👍

@@jonfrance7201 Was really nice, I had planned to camp out up on top to get morning views but the wind was too cold and too strong. As it turned out was really nice in the sheltered bowl. Thanks for watching 👍

@@jonfrance7201 I really enjoy the bivi bag camps, I seem to sleep so much better out of tent. In summer I use a head net for bugs, not needed this time of year although I did wonder about slugs! 🐌

I’ve had it a long time and had some really good trips using it, previous to this it has been waterproof, I think I just need to to re-waterproof it. But yes is the answer. It’s robust, fairly lightweight, well built and plenty more room and comfort than a non Hooped bivvi bag. Saying that, next camp out I’m in my Snugpak special forces bivi bag. Thanks for watching 👍🏕️🍺
