BACK TO BLONDE with L'OREAL PREFERENCE 9.1 (How to Color Roots at Home)

In this video, I show my monthly coloring process, and this month I tried L'OREAL Preference in 9.1. I tried to look in the US market for this hair color but looks like they use different metrics even in this thing. The color of the hair looked great but the smell was really harsh. So I have mixed feelings about the products but in general, I do like L'OREAL. Once after my graduation, I even applied to work for their company but nobody responded thought :D Long story short, It will make a great job of lifting your original hair color by 1 or 2 levels lighter. Do not expect being blonde, if your hair is darker than 7. Most probably you will be orange. If you want a huge transformation just save your money and go to the salon.

I just tried this dye now, and honestly, the smell is outrageous! The gel consistency is not bad and with one pack I could get all my roots covered ( I usually use 2 packs of INOA). I'll definitely not try it again and get back to my INOA 9.13&9.31 combination. Thanks for the review!

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences. My next home experiment will be with Goldwell. I used to get balayage in the salon with this brand and after so many years, I found how to buy it 😂 before was not available only for salon usage. Those supermarket products aren't that good, they damage hair way more.

I think it looks nice from the video but I understand not what you were wanting. Do you remember if you left it on the full time it states on the box? I'm curious as I want to do my roots. Thanks!

I don't like the Preference blondes (and other colors as well because of the smell and gel consistency). The L'Oreal Excellence is much better, delicate and it's more similar to the L'Oreal Majirel (professional) hair colors. I like the Very light pearl blonde 10.21 Excellence (I've used it so many times). Now I just got the Excellence 01 in the supermarket which is the lightest shade in the Excellence range and I hope this will turn out lighter than my 9/10-level blonde. I don't want to use the harsh bleach on my slavic, thin hair :)

Yes I did the review on Majirel/Majiblonde as well. It was actually my first ever video on RU-vid :)) Completely agree with the smell problem in this one.

Don't use then box color or any professional color on your " slavic hair"🙄, walking with natural hair, usually real slavic hair light naturally and don't need blonde box color.

@@k172134 LOL, WDYM by "real Slavic" hair being light? I have met Slavic people with the lightest of blonde hair or the darkest of brown hair. Actually, scientific research has shown that the original blondes come from Asia (Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, etc.) It is why you would see many blonde/auburn haired and blue eyed people from these countries today. The term Aryan which Hitler used came from Sanskrit which is an Asian language. She was just describing her personal experience, jheez...

All people in the world have long since been genetically mixed, and none of the people completely knows their full genetics of descends from the first generation. Most real blondes are born in Scandinavian countries in the Viking countries. Not in Tajikistan, not in Iran, not in Uzbekistan, there are no true blondes there, most of the people with Arab features' and roots. In Afghanistan I saw a few people with Slavic looks red hair blondes with green blue eyes, So mostly in Scandinavian countries, true blondes descendants. And who cares about Slavic hair or what kind color of hair?🙄 Are you so obsessed with Slavic hair and blondes?

@@k172134 You've never seen a Pakistani, Tajikstani, Lebanese, etc. People. I've been to many of these countries twice and despite the contrasting climate, many people have blue or grey/green eyes with auburn or dark blonde to Light ash blonde hair. Original blonde did come from these regions and because Scandinavian countries are cold their blonde hair has become lighter biologically over generations. Also, many people in Europe bleach and lighten their hair. The natural lightest shade of blonde is a Level 9, regardless of what country one is from.

You should use nice and easy light ash blonde 9A L'Oreal hair dyes always come out 3 or 4 Shades Darker than the box it destroyed my blonde hair
