Hello your videos are fantastic. I'm born and grew up in the south of Côte d'Ivoire and we have the same vegetation and also the same problems if it comes to roads. This kind of vacation is very nice and you connect again with your people. You have a wonderfull country and your people are owesome. Please take care of YOUL ALL.
Great video my love i really enjoyed it and i hope you do a video on kent Johnson road.Thats where i was raised then i came to the us at the age 15 in 1995.
This is Liberia in 2019. A country that is nearly 172 years old. This video does not need any further explanation. 90 percent of the soils in Liberia has not been altered since Adam and Eve.
You are so right! Driving around the country, I was amazed at how resource-rich we are and yet poverty is rampant. I blame that on poor leaderships from then to now. With our population and our resources, we could be the envy of our neighbors but without Guinea and Ivory Coast, we wouldn't have pepper and other commodities. So SAD!!
It is fun to see your smiling face! How many miles do you drive on the whole trip from Pleebo to Monrovia? Please forgive my ignorance. What is the reason for the check points? This is the final video so you did not video from Ganta to Monrovia? I will miss seeing your adventures.
Thank you! I'm always in front of the camera but for this trip it was intentional for me to stay behind the camera except for that rare moment with my palm wine...haha. Anyway, it is 713.2 km or 443.2 miles from Pleebo to Monrovia. The only paved section is Monrovia to Ganta. Ganta to Zwedru is extremely bumpy. With paved roads, the trip should take 9 hours at 50mph, but it took us a day and half. This is due to bad road conditions leading to car issues. And during the rainy season, people spend days to weeks on the road. As for the check points, it is to check for proper documents, illegal entry and drugs etc. This is the final video of the trip Back to Monrovia but I still have enough content to share. Yes it was dark when we arrived in Ganta so could not record but the video 'Road Trip Liberia' show Monrovia to Ganta road. I hope I answered all of your questions and if you have more questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for the support, I really appreciate your input.
Abel V. McKing McGill That’s right!! It was so sad realizing that most times their produce go bad because of the bad roads. We can do better and we should. No wonder why poverty is rampant. Thanks for your input. Please Subscribe 🙏🏾
I Love my Liberian people. I Pray that God bless my hands in work so i can also bless my Country and its people. I believe by his grace, it shall be well someday. #MAMALIBERIAFORLIFE!
Ford Hanson my dear, our neighbors have governments that prioritize tourism and therefore create the environment that attract people returning to the motherland. Although our country is beautiful, we lack basic services and that is a deterrent for those interested in staying long-term. We can only hope for a change.
Heme Heru Be careful with the one on RIA Highway. From what I’m told, it’s not from the palm tree. People make it with their own formula. For authentic palm wine, you have to get out of Monrovia.
Layee Sallah Cisse Sanniquellie is up north. It’s closer to the Ivory Coast border. You can drive there through Ganta. From Ganta you can drive through Sanniquellie to Ivory Coast, Guinea, or Monrovia. We took the Ganta-Gbarnga Highway to Monrovia. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
