@@awildalaskalife I hope I didn't across too negatively. I am fortunate enough to own an off grid camp and use a lot of equipment including a similar tractor. I have been doing this stuff for a long time and much like yourselves I had to learn it by doing it since no one I knew had done it. Good luck and remember that every mistake is a learning opportunity not a loss.

We hope to get a shop at least partially built this summer, and, fingers crossed, maybe move next year! We'll finish the shop with living quarters inside next summer/fall if all goes as planned. 🦋🤞

Yes! First, a shop with a living space so we can move up here permanently, then we'll build our log cabin from trees right here on the property! 😁

Like a cargo trailer? Or camper van? It can definitely get wet and muddy on the Alaska highway, which is why we wrapped everything in plastic this year. 😅 But of course, since we did that, the roads were pretty clean! 😂
