My New Years focus is to continue to improve my health, continue better self-care, make positive impacts on others wherever I can, and practice gratitude more.

It took a few days, but he is starting to feel better! 😊 I was able to stay healthy the whole time luckily! We’re glad that clunking is resolved as well!

Looks like we need to move somewhere warm forever 😂 Joel recovered relatively quickly… it’s weird how it came on so quick though

Annnd, what was Emma doing with the paper towels? Nice to be rid of the mystery clunk.

Lolllll I was re-rolling the paper towel back on the roll since it unrolled in the sink! There were a few pieces that got a little damp so I was laying those flat to dry 😂 it is definitely nice not to have to worry about the clunk anymore! 😊

@@CozyLivingMachine I thought that was what you were doing. I had to chuckle. It reminded me of a friend that washes & reuses all her baggies.

Just wondering... How much of your own money have you spent to fix the brand new Holiday Rambler ? What is the name of the RV shop that worked on your Rig, and how many miles can you reasonably expect to get out of your Rig ? what is the life expectancy of the Engine and Chassy ? 300 K miles ? By the way, its only 250 miles from Lake Tapps to Coburg, OR. I'm gonna go try some of De Pizza. Mama Mia LOL

We spent $200 to correct our steering wheel, $220 trying to diagnose the popping noise, and we have another $120 repair we are trying to get ford to reimburse us for (it’s coming in another video) since it should’ve been fixed under warranty but no ford dealer will touch a motorhome. Otherwise everything else has been fixed under warranty! In Coburg, we’ve been going to the Rev Group service facility. Northwest Truck and Trailer Repair in Tukwila has worked on the chassis of the rig before as well. We trade our rigs out before we get to the end of their lives, but I would say probably 300k is a reasonable guess. I think it’s dependent on how hard you use it too. It isn’t a far drive to Coburg! Next time you head south it’s worth the stop 😊

did they share how they fixed and/or found the popping issue?

They shared: When pulling in to drive way and frame flexes you get a pop sound that is felt and can be heard on both sides under the seats. Inspect under front of coach for any loose bolts. Loose bolts were found in multiple locations. Tightened bolts and added one bolt that was missing on passenger side of frame. Test drove after all bolts tightened. Popping sound stil present. Thin metal in each fender had a popping sound when tapping it. Added 1.5 inch angle steel structure to each side and tested again. Popping still present. Fresh water atnk bay had self tapping lag bolts that did not go through the frame causing the bay housing to flex. Broke off extra length on lag bolts to remove pressure off the frame and bay housing. Popping sound still present. After more inspection of front suspension it was found that 7 out of 8 bushings from the liquid shock components are rubbing on metal. Also found thin metal in middle of coach above transmission had flexed and gaps were present in between welds. Self tapping screws were installed in between each weld to secure the thin metal to the frame. Fresh water tank bay had no bolts or welds to attach to frame. Lag bolts were added in multiple locations at front and rear of bay. Tested again, still popped but was 95 percent better and not as loud. Narrowed inspection down to generator compartment and believe ti to be motor in generator moving no its springs hitting the generator casing. Stuffed shop blankets around generator motor and test drove. Could not make the noise. Removed the blankets, noise is most likely coming from generator motor moving on hard left turns. Tightened bolts and secure sheet metal as needed. Test drove and font end had noises and pops but do not occur until extreme side to side movement or going over uneven ground at speed.
