Just stay on top of work and enjoy every moment , try to make friends especially the first week (it's easier to make friends during that time) or interact with ppl ,I loved freshman year hope you do too 🫶

@@m.z6840 don’t worry, it’s pretty easy and fun.. just stay on top of your assignments and grades. Don’t procrastinate. Build a relationship with your teachers and school counselor ( cuz chances are you may have your teachers for other classes in the future, and the same counselor throughout your highschool experience). Also don’t put yourself around the wrong kind of people, don’t get involved with extreme drama. JOIN CLUBS OR SPORTS!!! And try to form your friend groups in 9th grade cuz chances are they are gonna be the group your with for the rest of your highschool experience. Also Stay involved with the school life( prep rallies, spirit week, school sports) it makes the four years exciting!! Oh also don’t believe the rumors that students say about teachers, get to know the facts yourself. And don’t believe the rumors from upperclassmen ( there is no pool on the fifth floor or the roof of the building🫤) - upperclassmen ( class of 2026) 🙃😋 you’re gonna enjoy this year!!!

love the vid nely! i was wanting to say I took mainly AP n honors classes in high school too but I regret not just taking regular courses and instead putting that extra effort toward getting a head start in college. If I can say some advice i wish i knew, is if you are planning to go to college please try to take some college classes right now! when in high school they are free!! you can take them at a junior college near you and it is SOO nice when you are in college and already have a head start!

omgg im going to senior year. lowk crying abt that. Ap english lang like the class was alr but the test lowk ate me up even tho i thought i was doing good. Ap spanish class was pretty easy and the test was too once you don't overthink it a lot. I took Math Honors junior year too, and the math itself isn't really difficult it's just that the class kinda moves faster. hopefully this gives you some type of perspective on how your classes are but it could be different for different areas in Cali

Junior year is only hard if you make it hard... If you don't take AP classes for no reason, you will be fine. BUT I would suggest taking dual credit. Dual credit > ap Dual credit is promised as long as you get the good grade (above a C) whereas AP you have to get a certain score and if you don't do well enough you don't even get that credit. ON TOP of that, you might not even have it be approved for college credit. you should not be wearing crop tops to school... you're a kid, dress like it.
