I was just introduced to this channel (i love it btw!) and when i saw the title say "'freshman year" I thought she meant she was in high school and I was like... she's too mature to be a freshman in high school 😭

I do year around schooling and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Especially because I get hired during the summer.

I can honestly say that the only school supplies I used in college (bachelor's and master's) was paper and pens (for notes). Other than that, I just typed my papers and turned them in online (or physically depending on the teacher's preference).

School starts August 9th and Im so readyyyy to go back to school shopping. I hope freshmen year goes good for you!!!! NEW SUBBIEEEE BTWWWW

I would suggest to bring some erasers and wood pencils too and maybe a notebook. I had times where i forgot to bring my charger and charge my laptop so couldn’t type my notes. Also some profs require wooden pencils for tests

Backpacks are way too expensive. I have one from a few years ago that still works, although it required some stitching to fix it. :) Here's some of my tips/reccomendations for back to school btw !! :)) For pens, I highly reccomend the pilot G2 pens! They may be on the more expensive end for some, but they're really high quality pens. I have some of those myself! However, for my left-handed people like me, I do have to warn you that they MIGHT smudge if you don't let the ink dry or accidentally glide your hand across your paper when writing! Secondly, if you want to stay ahead and track your assignments, work shifts (if you're 16+), appointments, etc, I highly recommend a planner! For highlighters, I would reccoment purchasing some that don't smudge! For lined paper, I would recommend splurging on some reinforced filler paper by 5 star! It helps if you're working on assignments and typical lined paper is SUPER easy to rip out of binders! Lastly, for binders, if you want to save money, instead of getting multiple 1 or 2 inch ones, I recommend a 4 inch binder and some dividers. (I forgot what they're called) I hope you all find my tips useful! Good luck with school everyone!
